One of the newly promoted teams that made the Championship from last season pretty much brought in an entirely new roster.
Aside from that fact I mean we don't have a ton to whine about, despite being one of the lower level Alpha teams we're still sitting at 8-1. I did an average level break down for my team at the start of the season and we were the 7th lowest level Alpha team in WEA. I have no gripe with the Vikings or any other team that remains loyal and gets a bit stacked level wise. I think the main gripe is with the SIM itself, there seems to be an issue this season when there's a level disparity. Not to harp on your team too much, but I can guarantee you that despite being higher level your builds aren't all that superior. The pancake fest that happened week 1 was something I've never seen before and with the builds we have on our DTs/NTs that should have never taken place. That wasn't the only issue with that game, but I'm not going to make a bunch of excuses.
The pancake fest is normal. Blob has led the league the last 4 seasons and was 2nd his first full season...including the first 3 years he was majorly out-leveled.
Also level difference doesnt play that much into it, we scrimmaged against a higher tier team and he still pancaked the hell out of them. (Proof: http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=451623) This was against a level 49 DT.
The first 3 seasons he lead the league, I was building him a certain direction. Then last season I tried a few tweaking. This tweaking along with VAs made him virtually unstoppable. But do realize, everyone benefits from VAs...so it is not all VAs.
It was no discredit to Blob. And no what happened in that game wasn't 'normal'. Your team had over 200 pancakes against a very well built front 7. By far more that's happened to us, ever. Your entire offensive line pretty much had the best games of their seasons in terms of pancakes and I guarantee you were no push over team. There was definitely something weird with that sim.

i thought the league was going to be a total disaster this season, but a couple of teams like cock 'n bulls, and amsterdam dragons really stepped up.
