Not much change at all in this but here we go:
Teams in the dance right now:
1. The Danes- They just keep rolling along. The Aussies offer a bit of a rest prior to a huge game with Taylor. Still with 4 games left against the top 5 teams, so their back end schedule is no cakewalk and anyone within a couple of games has a shot at them.
2. PM- Off an easy game with the Aussies, PM faces their toughest opponent thus far in a one loss Taylor team. Taylor would love to get this game and knock PM back a bit after the last time they played PM knocked Taylor out of the playoff race. Both are in the playoffs barring a meltdown so this game is for positioning. PM still has 5 games left with playoff teams and they could easily lose all of them.
3. Trilla- Solidified their spot and now have big wins over Taylor and the GCMM. Only loss coming to the Danes and still has games with PM and Bendigo.
4. Taylor- Showed the depth of the top 4 teams with AA experience with a big win over Bendigo. Taylor now faces league powers PM & The Danes back to back and would love a sweep here to cause a 4 way tie at the top.
5.GCMM- Even with the loss to Trilla, this is the best 3 loss team though they still must run the Gauntlet of Bendigo/PM/Danes. That will really test this upstart team.
6. Norfolk holds here with a big win over Siracusa and virtue of their prior win over Bendigo. They still have a huge game with the nuggets that will determine a seeding spot in the playoffs.
7. McNuggets- 2 Huge wins in a row but now facing league power Trilla. Even if they drop that, they can legitimately run the table to the Taylor game and solidify their playoff spot.
8.Bendigo-Not just a loss, but a bad loss and due to losses to Norfolk and McNuggets just trying to hold onto the playoff spot. Still with 4 games against top level teams GCMM and after a break a three game run of Trilla, PM, & the Danes. Could be a tough back half to hold onto the playoff spot.
------------------------------------------------------------
Just out right now
9. Cobden after 3 straight losses is just 1 game out of a playoff spot and have played the tough part of their schedule. The problem is they lost to Bendigo who has the toughest schedule left, so they need big wins.
10- Shrooms- Just trying to hang on but with 5 games remaining against the top 5 teams, getting that last spot is going to be a chore.

-------------------------------------------------------------
Out of the picture:
Siracusa, Telstar, Guam, Puerto Rico, Australia, Suva

Really, this has been fun this season with your write-ups. You've done nice work.

To me the interesting team to watch will be Taylor. Their offense is capable of producing enough firepower to hang with PM and Danish.

Great job again. Luckily for us I think we are going to be playing our best ball going into that gauntlet and hopefully can steal one or two.

GO GCMM!!!

Taylor and Trilla both have an udnerstanding of how to play PM and The Danes. The fact is all 4 of us are pretty accustomed to one another and the games between our 4 teams will be wars and I dont take any of those three lightly. In fact I think PM is the weakest of the 4 at the moment. Until we beat one of them, Ill stand by that.
But dont count out the GCMM, who have proven to be the best of the up and coming A teams. They will give some tests out.
