Sorry BWG, we couldn't do much wrong today, but if you can keep things together, the Cubs should have their way next season.
Mobile Bay went slow and steady as they steamrolled the OUTLAWS... gotta say it was rather rude of them not to let PENRITH have the ball.
Urumuqi was in solid shape to take a 6-point lead into the half against SAFSrbija... but GanNing Urumuqi's pregame comments about Mrs. Sunesson came back to bite him as her husband Bob HT came after GanNing in the final minute of the first half and knocked him cold on back to back kickoffs. Endzone took the fumbles to the end zone both times, causing a huge score, momentum and morale shift that Urumuqi wasn't able to fight back from.
THE PIGS pulled a pretty significant upset today as they pounded the ball on the ground against Tuvalu and also benefitted from special teams fumbles to take down the favored Matadors. They've earned back some respect, and another paycheck as they advance to face long-time rivals Knox in round 2.
So, the conference semi's have Mobile Bay hosting SAFSrbija and Knox hosting THE PIGS. I gotta think Mobile Bay and Knox will face off in the Zeta Championship Game.
