Buer is just pissed he sucks ass and i would be pissed if i still lived at home with my parents too.. I dont care if you like me Buer or anyone.. We all are here to win and for you to say that your "just not that into it anymore" is a load of shit.. You say that so you dont feel so bad for being the utter waste of time that you are... We only have your parents to blame for that though.. Really its not your fault. As for you having a ass chance of beating us... please... you know and we know that wont happen.. you would have to screw your entire Chem just to sign enough players to even have a chance... you barley beat dublin and as good and cherrie is at game planning she hardly won the coin toss against us... Look you talked a lot of shit last year when you were up here losing.. and we were down in BBB#11 winning and you said a lot of we will see... and wait till you get up there its not that easy to win... well now we and the 49'ers are here and we dont suck and yet you do... So just shut up and let the games play... we dont need to waste anymore time out of our lives reading your crap writing.. If you win great.. if you dont no surprise.. but until you win a championship in a league that i am in or have played in i dont care about you at all... so waste your money "not caring about winning" keep playing and keep being the loser you are... Tell your mom hi for me and to change her toothpaste please... Thanks buddy..

Still fine though, not as caught up in winning as I used to be and as some others are.
I call complete BS on that statement.
yeah i agree i think that if he were actually good he would be caught up in winning, but when your losing its easy to say you dont care...
So do you both agree to shut up if we beat you?
You guys have a fine team. Besides Amsterdam, Dresden has an outside chance at beating us. Why would you direct the comment at me? I have not belittled any team this season. I simply say BS to not caring about winning. This is why we play. So if you beat us, good job.
That's where you went wrong. I didn't say that I don't care about winning, I'm just not as caught up in it as I used to be. I remember in our first season in WEBBB11, during the conference championship game against Dublin, I wanted to win so badly I brought in some of the best coordinators around, exploited glitched/cheat plays, and all that stuff just to win, and we still loss. I really didn't care so much about the loss itself as I did about how much time I wasted in gameplanning and recruiting and stuff, especially for a game. So now I'm more laid-back about it, especially compared to some other GMs, such as Nate. Have to admit, I probably seemed like he did, with all the trash-talk on the forums, and still do, but at least I'm not starting fights any more.
So, tbh, it was more Nate than you and Belfast (just lumped them all together), but not saying he's the only one, just probably the best example from these forums. Not visiting our league forums 30+ times a day just to argue in fights helped to make this game a lot more fun. Heck, maybe I'll do something productive, like league rankings, if Cherrie would be kind enough to send me the spreadsheet she uses.
One more thing, why do we have an "outside chance"? We seemto be able to compete fairly well if not better level-wise, so the only other thing that would make a difference is game-planning, and unless you've already scouted us thoroughly, I can't figure how you would know that you'd be able to beat us so surely. Even if you did, you still would need to know which AI we'd use against you, for both defense and offense so...
I say outside chance because I am comparing common opponents. If we beat someone 65-3, there is no gameplan that team can use to turn it around. For example, we crushed Dublin! You beat them by 10. I figured we had you beat by 40 at that point. After the Amsterdam game, I am not that confident. You and your GM's did as best as you could against that lineup. Amsterdam is superior to everyone in this league at the moment. I have Belfast as a 14 point UD to the 49ers. Our organization as a whole has figured out some of the bugs for this season. There is a definite problem with the AI. Belfast has beaten two of our other squads in scrimmages. Teams that are rated higher.
I am not here to pick a fight with you. I leave that to my owner. He seems to do a pretty good job at pissing off everyone he encounters. However, he is apart of the EU, which has some of the best GM's in all of GLB! You have a great team and I look forward to the game!
Tbh, that's basically just because, frankly, we don't have an OC right now, and haven't at all this season. Really, if we both played Dublin with the exact same AI, on offense and defense, I would have to say there's a good chance that we come out on top. Just based on levels, matchup bars (although I know they're not trustworthy, but they do mean something) and whatever. But we'll see, maybe I'll bring in an OC for our game, who knows?
You're right about one thing though, it's not you, it's your owner. I mean, look at him, he's a little baby. I lol'ed so hard at the post above. So many BS statements in one post it's ridiculous. First off, we went 13-3 last season, a third seed in a league far superior than this one so far (no offense, but you know a lot of the power houses like the Bunnies and Mob promoted out, and that's just Alpha) and second, you pretty much got lucky and had agents with higher leveled players, in which case you should feel lucky, not be talking all this shit and not feeling as accomplished as you obviously think you are, or you just bought your team, meaning you just paid off higher FAs with big contracts and screwed over your original agents, in which case gives me more reason to despise you. Plus, you have to admit you haven't played the strongest of schedules yet.

Alright, as most of you know, I just hate getting into these contests to see who has the bigger penis (cause I usually only have to pull it halfway out to win) BUT I'm jumping in on this one...
Lets start with this...
Kind of ERRONEOUS statement #1 "You're right about one thing though, it's not you, it's your owner. I mean, look at him, he's a little baby. I lol'ed so hard at the post above. So many BS statements in one post it's ridiculous."
Yes, Nate does like to run his mouth more that Dante and I think he should, BUT he's a part of our EUO "family", so we tolerate it. And quite frankly, Belfast is 29-1 in our last 30 games, so he does get some leeway. If we suck next season, Nate will take his well deserved lumps. Either way, he's part of the EUO and we'll defend him to the death. Loyalty matters, even if it means getting your ass kicked because your friend runs his mouth every once in awhile (but we're 29-1 over our last 30, so that doesn't happen that often).
COMPLETELY ERRONEOUS statement #2 "and second, you pretty much got lucky and had agents with higher leveled players, in which case you should feel lucky, not be talking all this shit and not feeling as accomplished as you obviously think you are, or you just bought your team, meaning you just paid off higher FAs with big contracts and screwed over your original agents, in which case gives me more reason to despise you."
We don't get "lucky" with agents that have higher level players. We actually go recruit agents with higher level players. This, my friends, is called a winning "stratergy". It is not LUCK that allows us to do so, it's that we're good owners and we have built a winning culture that agents want to bring their players to. There is a reason that when we had a forum "incident" this season all of the agents on Belfast came running to defend Dante. It's because we as GM's and Owners are loyal to our players and they are loyal to us. We work hard at player scouting and development, we work hard at game planning, and we work hard at keeping promises, hence the reason we have higher level agents.
As far as "talking shit" and "feeling more accomplished than we obviously think we are", I don't know if you looked at the names that are GMs on Belfast, but there are a LOT of gold trophies next to our names...and those trophies didn't get there by the "trophy swapping" that some people in this game do. Our GMs EARN their trophies. We've all been together for 4 seasons, we've won 4 gold trophies and 5 silver ones...
As far as "buying our team" - um, I don't know if you actually look at the facts before you make statements like that, but our payroll is low...reason being, we look for strong builds and agents who are TEAM players. Team players realize that as long as the contract is enough so they can train, the rest of the $$$ doesn't mean anything. Large contracts hinder teams from being good long term! We have agents who have a team first mentality, hence the reason A.) we win, and B.) we have a low payroll.
And as far as "screwing over our original agents", we don't do that either. They like playing for us, so they understand if we have to bring in higher level players, it's about winning, and they understand that. It also doesn't hurt that we have 7 other teams and various levels, so that we may find homes for agents who's players want to continue to play for us (which are MOST, 96% retention rate). That way, they can continue to have stable ownership and still feel part of the team. How do we do this? Because we've bread a culture of winning and we look at all 7 teams as 1 team, so we all support each other.
COMPLETELY ERRONEOUS statement #3: "Plus, you have to admit you haven't played the strongest of schedules yet."
If this were ONLY the case...here are the facts...we have beaten the 3rd place, 4th place, 5th place, 7th place and 8th place team in the Alpha conference. The only playoff teams missing in that line up are #2 and #6. That would mean that half our games have been against playoff bound teams. Want more detail, then here you go...
As far as what I'll call "relevant games" - We have played 10 regular season games and 2 scrimmage games against teams in WE A#6 and one scrimmage game against a team from WE A#5 (The team from WE A#5 is 9-1 and in 2nd place).
4 of those 13 total games have been against slow build and CPU teams. The other 9 games break down as follows:
Those 9 teams are a combined 63-27 (average of 7-3 per team - that's .700 ball) and we have beaten those 9 teams a combined 473-109 (average of 52.56-11.89). and don't give me the excuse of "well, teams don't game plan for scrimmages"...cause we don't either.
Now, I'm not saying Nate doesn't run his mouth too much (he does), I'm not saying other teams aren't very good squads (Amsterdam, Dresden, Dublin, etc.. are very fine organizations), BUT do not cut down Nate or his team for "not doing it the right way" or for being "too caught up in winning" We're 29-1 in our last 30 regular season and playoff games. Winning is what you're supposed to do. Are we going to win the championship? Hell if I know! But I know we have a good chance, a lot of teams do. I do know we're a good team and a first class GLB organization. Ask our agents, they all agree... Ask Amsterdam, they'll agree too...
To those reading this, If THAT sounds like something you wanna be a part of, let one of us know...

First off, I have no problem with you personally, and in fact, I've never even seen you lol. But I have to respond to these comments, if only to clarify things.

Alright, first off, my statement was not 'erroneous' at all (nice word choice by the way). That statement I made had nothing to do with how good you are, how many games you win, or anything to do with GLB for that matter. My statement referred to his personality and childish attitude. It's irrefutable. If you need proof, just look at the top of this page. First off, making personal attacks is uncalled for. Nothing I said had anything to do with his personal life, especially not his 'parents' or 'his mother and her toothpaste'. (Wtf is that btw? o_o). At least between you, Dante and I we can have a civilized conversation, albeit an argumentative one. I mean, I can barely stand reading his writing between his double-periods and/or ellipses (not sure what the heck they are), and the lack of any structured paragraphs...

Well, I should have put an 'either' in there (added it in now in bold in the quote...thought I had done that the first time around. Although it probably shouldn't matter because of the 'or' that I placed in there later on). You're right though, there was a third option I overlooked, (the one that you mentioned), but I suppose you can't fault me from omitting that option based on past experiences with Nate.

In this one you just took my quote out of context. I said that if you just got lucky and had agents with higher leveled players, (which I know not to be true now), then he shouldn't be feeling as accomplished as he feels now, and that if he had just traded/released away his original players from his team in WEBBB11, and replaced them with higher leveled players brought in through trade and the FA, that would be considered "buying a team" and "screwing your original owners over". But since you say you didn't, and I'm inclined to believe you, that's that.

This one's partly my mistake. I saw that you hadn't beaten the #2 seed, #3 seed, and #6 seed, and assumed the rest of your schedule was playoff teams. Lol. But still, the #2 & #3 seed games (and/or the $6 seed, whatever) are probably your hardest games of the season, hence the 2nd and 3rd place, lol.

And don't give me the excuse of "well, teams don't game plan for scrimmages"...cause we don't either.
I'm not sure what your point here is. o_o. That you beat a team using only your levels?

Now, I'm not saying Nate doesn't run his mouth too much (he does),
And this was more of my point rather than this:

As an agent with Belfast, all I can say is I'm happier being on this team as a back-up than the last team I was on as a starter. Better ownership, better management, better team chemistry.
AND most of all, these guys treat all the agents great.
Winning is good, but most of all..... having fun with GLB no matter what the outcome, is what matters!!
Trash talk sucks, winning counts at the end of the day.
I'll back all my superiors' any time any place; Dante929, EnFuegoTBR, AND nate3713 and everyone else.
Let's just play the game fellas!

OK, so is everyone having fun. GG Dresden. See you in the playoffs again.
By the way. I like Nate, one of my receivers played for him. Great organization.
