Well, I now stand with a prediction record of 19-5. Three of those wrong predictions are Riverhead's fault.
CPU Paper Tigers @ Big Whiskey Assassins correct
Thanks to San Antonio's win over Riverhead, one might think that the talk of the Paper Tiger locker room is us slipping into the number one spot. You would be wrong. Preparing for the rising threat that is Big Whiskey is the topic of conversation - after all, Big Whiskey was ranked #11 just three weeks ago, now they're #6.
San Antonio Heat @ Columbus South Caralackeys correct
Having dashed Riverhead's dreams of an undefeated season, the Heat should make short work of the Caralackeys. However, on paper, these are equally matched teams. Some inspired game planning by Columbus could conceivably pull off a miracle and give us the upset of the week - but I doubt it.
Riverhead Blue Waves @ Farkistan Squirrels WTF? Incorrect again?
Can Squirrels swim? We'll find out this week if Farkistan can keep their heads above those crashing Blue Waves. I've yet to correctly predict a Riverhead game, but I just don't see Farkistan standing up to these guys this week.
Austin Alcoholics @ Houston Cougars correct
Heading into back to back games with teams from Austin, cougars should take them both. Yes, that's right, a week 10 prediction already.
Austin Wineswilling Fancy Boys @ Mudville Bombers correct
First off, I'd like to mention that I hate the AWFBs name, not just because it's so damn long, but also because I can't simply use their city name because we have two Austins. What is it about Austin that makes it so special? Wait, don't answer that. Anyway, this is the second game in Mudville's own "tour" of Austin, they'll take down these guys, too.
Lynchburg Lightning @ Lexington Lynx correct
Lynchburg is back, and Lexington is apparently checking out.
Gotham Crusaders @ Auckland Raiders correct
Raiders beat Crusaders - has a nice ring to it, don't you think?
Inya Onya @ Chicago Whodats correct
Chicago's gonna be saying "Who dat in us and on us?"
EDIT: @@#$^ &@$ #$* #%( #( (()$^)# %& @#& @# 2 7@$&*@$ *@$*@$ RIVERHEAD! I'm 0 for 4 on predicting your games.
As always, the opinions above are mine, and not necessarily my team management
