Warrior General Games

Bort would do a true all star game at the end of every season, say day 42 or so. Take the best of every position with a minimum of 4 players per team from each conference and play conference vs conference for like a $25k bonus check. Would be fun for more East vs West rivalry type stuff... thats all ive got so far i am just bored and cant bring myself to watch much of todays sims due to the slow speed.

I would love it a true east verse west game and let the championship team from each league run the AI's

Would you use the championship AI or would you just go 50/50 like the D leagues? or use the runner-up's AI like the pro bowl?

wouldn't much matter what AI that the team used if you have a all-star cast they should be able to produce with either AI.

Yeah the only reason I would lean to the 50/50 D league roster would be to get a more even game. You know how it is being a coordinator making changes after scouting every game. You cant do that for an all-star game so to make it fair use the most basic ai in the game... the D leagues...

How would the All-Star team be selected (what criteria)?
Ideas?

IMO they could use the new fame/endorsement calculations for the national endorsements and use it to calculate the best at each position.

I like to see a voting system. Something fair... IE- everyone gets to vote on each position, but you cant vote for a player on your own team. Something along those lines anyway.

Yeah, ideally I would like to see the top player at each position stat wise be automatically selected and then have the rest be based off of a voting system as you mentioned but I figure using the "MVP voting" that goes into the endorsements would be easiest since the system is already in place/being worked on. I dont want to wait another 3 seasons for Bort to finally get around to a voting system.

Bort's too busy working on the color of the dots to worry about stuff like that. Colored dots is waayyy more important, duhhh....

I had made a post earlier about handing out endorsements(dont feel like looking for it again) i think the same criteria i lined out for handing those out would work for this. Assigning point values for stats for each position would work. I think the game would be a great idea.

if you get bored at some point in the near future I would love to read this. I want to write up a solid report that I can put up on the suggestions and see how it does. Could use any other sources I can get my hands on to make it the best possible.
