Well, well, well. We have some upsets here today. The P-Burg Players, fighting to stay out of ranking Purgatory, reached out and touched the All-Stars in a nasty fight. Meanwhile, the Hackers got a little too fat and happy, and the Razorback Nation handed them a reminder about taking teams for granted as well.

Unfortunately for both the winners of the above contests, there was no help for them up the ladder, what with all the other activity going on in the charts today. Griff has noticed this injustice and is considering possible ways to fix what may well be a hole in the formula.

No changes in the top 6 whatsoever, other than the spread between them. The Clams have not gone red just yet (red clams, get it?! ) but they're that much closer to the brink thanks to a run-in with undefeated Portland that left broken mollusk shells all over the field. A few Portland players received stitches after the game...

Looks like the loudest BBB teams are backing up their shit-talking. Not quite as much as the loudest A team.

I'm trying to figure out how to fix it. My current formula basically gives no love to close wins, no matter how good the opponent. I'm trying to figure out a way to incorporate the opponent's previous rank into the calculation for game points.
