GG Richmond -- it was a close game until the 4th quarter -- its looking like we're playing a new sim agin lately with fumbles nerfed or berfed or re-nerfed or what have you -- I guess it adds excitement and some uncertainty, but I always think that more than 1 or 2 here and there kind of ruins the game for everyone

Oh yeah, and anyone else noticing their AI getting stuck on either pass or rush:

My AI is not programmed to run quite like this -- 10 rushes in a row -- it worked, but I think our receivers are going to start grumbling if my offense keeps running like this

Rotterdam, that score should have been closer. Once again I am very confused with the sim. No doubt that we attempted to exploit the 5WR set since you guys blitz your two CB's almost every play. We had our #1 and #2 WR's in the #4 and #5 spots and we had our AI set to favor Speedy and Anthony, yet te sim had throws going to covered WR's vs wide open WR's like here:

You'll notice our #5 WR matched up against your MLB - he was WIDE OPEN, yet the pass went to a covered WR??

Seriously, if we could have had every pass go to Speedy Mutha, you couldn't stop him. Except the sim chose to throw to a different WR than the 2 we selected.

Also confused how this play (among many others) was deflected from our WR. The DB is 3-4 yards AWAY when the catch is made. Yet it is "deflected". It's a cheating BS sim. We also SPECIFICALLY called zero runing plays and had our QB set to NEVER scramble, yet twice with 1st and G from the 2 or less, our QB tried to run the ball.

Then 3 RIDICULOUSLY cheap fumbles. One on a kickoff, one on a punt return fumble and one on a defender catching our WR breaking away from behind after a 40-50 yard gain.

Rotterdam ran all over us which was expected and they played a good game, but the sim is fucked. I wish someone would make the neccessary changes to make this game a little more realistic. I have nothing but adulation for Rotterdam, but Bort and company needs to get this game figured out before adding stupid enhancements like endorsements and shit...

How dare you scout my defense!

Text > loldots. Deflections from a distance, "open" receivers. The visual representation of the sim is never accurate.
Did you have auto adjust on? I was amused at the QB rollout at our goalline.
Fumbles...we were well adjusted to the new sim changes in that aspect, so it wasn't a surprise.

Sim issues go both ways, it affects everyone. We have some of the secondary set at close-aggressive in that game, yet I noticed a few who kept giving 5+ yard cushions. The coverage "charge forward" bug where the WR zooms by the CB is still present.

It all boils down to who can adjust better to the faulty sim with some luck of course. : /

Here in Hamburg we have the same problem with the pass. Sometimes it goes to a covered WR, when another is WIDE OPEN.

I'm helping a AAA team with their offense and while it called our plays, it in no way followed the AI. I think something is wrong with the sim.

The only sim complaint i have about when we played you guys is the fact that it ignored my depth chart change to move Cater Birch to target one of your corners

I'm helping a AAA team with their offense and while it called our plays, it in no way followed the AI. I think something is wrong with the sim.


I wonder did Talahassee plan to run so much against us? 58 rushing attempts for their main runner seems like a lot. Could be another example.

I have noticed a lot of passes going to covered WRs.. I will have one streaking up the sidelines to see the pass go right to a covered WR!! I am starting to wonder if something is screwing up the game again...

I see nothing wrong with this drive. It looks pretty effective if you ask me. Wears down the defense and demoralizes the opponent at the same time.

I am in agreement with what you say and in no way was upset directly at Rotterdam. Not at all. But what you say can't go both ways, right? IF you are getting deflections from a distance on a marginal WR with a exceptional CB, I could see that - not happy about it - but I can understand it. But then you have to accept that we had "open" WR's. I'm pretty sure our lvl 48 WR can get "open" past your lvl 37 CB or lvl 33 MLB. Speed of 105 should do that. I'm just more pissed off that the sim doesn't do what we ask it to do. What is the point of having an AI if it won't do what we program it to do.... I spend a crapload of time working on a gameplan that was obviously successful; to get cheated by the sim doing something completely different than what we asked for.

Plus, we also had ZERO RUNS CALLED. None.... And the QB's individual tactics were set to never scramble. And Auto Adjust is OFF.

We had you caught with your pants down on our gameplanning and the sim doesn't work correctly and we lose. If the sim had done what we asked, we woulda thrown for 800 yards on your defense....

I assume you will be changing that defensive play now....

I was impressed with Casey Shea's speed of 105 as well since he ran down Speedy Mutha from behind.

Nobody's saying it's wrong, but if that's not how the AI was set up to run then it's an issue.

My SS doesn't have 105 speed. He's close, but not quite there yet.
