The Spartans defended their home base at Platt Field with extreme vigor, dashing past the hapless Stahl-Männer of Ruhr on their way to a blowout victory. The Manchester D played lights out ball, shutting out the opposition, notching 2 turnovers and getting to the QB 8 times. Spartans QB Jaws Jaworski was on fire with 630 yards and 12 TD passes, 7 of which went to stud WR Robert Redd who also had 279.5 yards on the day.

Stockholm Black Death (3-2) at Passion Fruits (4-1) 19-35
The Passion Fruits strung together their 4th consecutive win with a solid win over last year's BBB#1 champs at home in front of 37,040 screaming fans at The Fruit Stand. Workhorse Passion HB Jerome "Big Bus" McNasty didn't accumulate many yards with only 56 yards combined but did penetrate the endzone 4 times to help the Fruits build an insurmountable lead and DE Give You The Run-Around seemed to rebound back to all star status with 2 sacks against one of the better offensive units in the conference.

East Cairo Argonauts (4-1) at Portugal Bull Riders (0-5) 263-0
It took ECA more than the allotted time to score at Eight Second Arena but once they got started the didn't stop with a brutal 263-0 stomping of the Bull Riders. East Cairo WR and recap first timer Slick Butkus hauled in a bevy of passes with 10 receptions for 335.5 yards, 8 of which he turned into points while the ECA defense did damage with 7 defensive TDs and a slew of special teams TDs.

Roman Legionnaires (4-1) at Torpedo Cowthorpe (3-2) 20-17
The Legionnaires stormed into The Gun Deck and set themselves up with a big enough first half to lead to take this game over coming out with a win against the Cowthorpe. Rome set themselves up for success with a 17-7 lead in the opening half on the legs of their very capable HBs Marion Barber and AL "4 Touchdown in a Game" Bundy each of whom scored a TD and who combined for 233 rushing yards. Torpedo managed to cut the lead to just three points early in the 4th quarter and had a shot at a late comeback when they received the ball at their own 11 with over 2 minutes to play but were unable to get close enough for a FG attempt before time expired. Wilson x3 Jr. fumbled the opening kickoff of the game to bring the running tally of games he has fumbled in consecutively to 3.

Parma Panthers (4-1) at Atom Bombs (1-4) 48-21
Parma managed to bounce back after their first loss of the season last week to diffuse the Atom Bombs in front of their explosive fans at Enola Gay Arena in what started as a tight game and ended a one-sided contest. The first half was a close affair with each team coming out of their locker rooms for the second half tied at 14 but the second half was all Parma as the Panthers running attack was simply too much for the Bombs to handle. Parma stud HB The Mighty Thor rushed for 3 second half scores and ended the day with 110.5 rushing yards the second of which was followed up by a game clinching fumble recovery by special teamer Deion 'Prime Time' Sanders.

The 41,110 fans at the Haberdashery at Klenze Park triumphantly threw up their caps as the final seconds ticked off the clock and their beloved Hat Tossers rode roughshod over the visiting Union Jacks. Ingolstadt's methodical attack allowed QB Luke Ricotta to average over 10 yards a completion while the run game managed a servicable 3.9 yards per rush with the 1-2 punch of HB's TELE PORTER and Tiny Twinkletoes compiling 267 rush yards. The fierce Hat Tossers defense was once again responsible for shutting down the offense of Edinburgh allowing only 159.5 yards of total offense.

The Red Devils end a two game losing streak with a blowout victory over the slumping Stalingrad Snipers in front of a raucous crowd at The Hell Hole. The high flying aerial attack of Kaiserslautern produced 3 TDs and 352.5 yards and the biggest beneficiary was Devil's WR Anquan Boldin #4 with 5 catches for 116.5 yards and a TD on a 76 yard scamper. Kaiserslautern DT Glenn De Horsey picked up his first sack on the season when he pulled down Stalingrad's QB Teresa Hurst for a 4 yard loss in the second quarter.
