Going to be interesting to see how it plays out. especially having one of the young guns. I'm not sure who it will be but the sacks are flying fast and early this season.

Can 2 players in their mid 20's (lv25,26 atm) keep pace with the Big Boys (lv33,42,42,42,40,45,46,40) or even take the crown? If not in the league, at least in their Conference? They'll have to compete against some stiff competition but SackMan FumbleMaker and Lucious Vorenai are at least keeping pace through 5 games into the season. In the end, I believe Super Sackman may get the crown due to his cross conference CPU creampuff team where he racked up 15sacks and yet to still play BBBR. I'm not sure how the Alpha bottom-feeders match with Zeta but it could come down to those first game cross-conference matchups on who may have had the 1 extra stat padder.

Can last seasons BBB5 champ Achilles of Troy soon join the young guns near the top? his team has had a rough start but a matchup with BBBR in 2 games may just light a spark.

And while i do know lvs don't always tell the tale of the player, 8+ is a bit to compare. 40+SP and at least 1set of EQ.

My money is on Brick Waahl, hes in second atm, and we have played arguably the toughest schedule so far. 3 CPU teams left to play.

ahh nice, didnt take the time to check strength of schedules played/unplayed. I know my guy(FumbleMaker) played 3 easier teams in the conference so is likely to fall off late. but nice to at least be high on the leaderboard early in the season. and did notice Alpha has 2 official CPU teams. BBBR for Zeta isn't CPU but close enough.

So probably be Waahl in Alpha/league and S.Sackman in Zeta based on current opinions. we'll get a little better picture by week10. Although it's on the leaderboard if i get time maybe i'll ty and keep a top5 update running each week.

As expected through 11wks Waahl and S.Sackman are battling it out at the top. Sonja Prince is making a run as well dueling with SS to see who can reach the QB first.

Meanwhile the young guns of Fumblemaker(27) and Achilles of Troy(22) are dueling once again. Achilles got the edge in S7 winning the BBB5 crown(22-18). Fumblemaker ending 2nd. They are both also contending for 2nd in hurries currently. It looks likely to come down to the wire on that one. Vorenai has fallen off the pace and is out of the top10 now in both categories, but a new youngin' wolfblade(21) replaces him.

seemingly lock at top3 trophies for sacks:
super sackman.......66
Brick Waahl..............59
Sonja Prince............54

Hurries up for grabs:
super sackman ......................... 73
SackMan FumbleMaker............ 49
Brick Waahl ................................ 49
Shaq Skalski .............................. 48
Achilles Of Troy ...........................47
Sonja Prince ............................... 47
Dan "The Beast Hampton........ 40

with one week remaining things are looking clearer. the sack order has likely been establish with a late season surge by Brick Waahl.

Sacks
Brick Waahl 104
super sackman 77
Sonja Prince 60

Hurries are still not 100% complete but a 2nd half surge by Achilles of Troy has put him in the top3....for now. Troy and Fumblemaker have tough finales while Jenkins and Skalski will be battling to meet in the backfield against the Slashers. Troy has a solid lead for #3 but given the sets of matchups it's certainly not safe.

Hurries
super sackman 91
Brick Waahl 87
Achilles Of Troy 70
SackMan FumbleMaker 63
brandon jenkins 60
Shaq Skalski 59

Playing 3 CPU teams in the last 5 weeks of the season usually means you can expect a late season surge! I don't think it will be enough to grab a gold in hurries or forced fumbles though... Maybe next year!

I have to say that I really was nervous after week 10 when I was 3rd in sacks....

Thanks to Cyfen and Lewtz for the vote of confidence early in the season.
