No kidding. The Heat was the #1 team I was looking forward to playing again on our schedule, then when I realized they were the Sun Devils - I seriously couldn't believe the score.

Did something change drastically with the depth or coordinating?

Hell, I hope the Voodoo curse hits 'Nites and BDC while we're at it too.

I am going to wait for the chemistry to get back to a decent level before I blame all of it on the name.

As for the depth...uhmm...the only thing that changed is we added nearly an entire other team, a good team at that, to our roster, remember the Thorny Devils?

As for the coordinating, unfortunately for us I am still here, but that only explains the Swiss cheese defense. We have always relied on our passing game and elusive backs on offense though and this is not the season for that.

Anyway, we took a team vote and we like Sun Devils, plus the chick with the pitch fork is kinda hot.

Well, So Cal is out. We went 2-1 but got shafted on a 3-way tiebreak. Can't say we didn't represent, though.

Would have been nice, but both of the other 2 teams were deserving as well. Truthfully it was a pretty tough group - even the 0-3 team was solid in each game (and just beat last season's USAPL champ today).

Just like what happened with Dryden in our bracket. We barely made it in through the 3-way tiebreak.
