Our SS got one this past season as a backup.

Thats just messed up, I guess they didn't want to pay the big bucks for the stars.

All those players who got gear will get a replacement piece.

Sad to think that this game-unbalancing event will not be undone completely. Yes, I had a player that got an item.. and that player will get a replacement item.. but this is too much for one team. The new rules say no more than 3 items to a team, and this team will get 9. And other teams will get a bunch. Ridiculous.
