With the amount of pancakes up so far this season, do you think Showboat Blocker is a good investment for VA's?

Would it be better to spend them on Strength and Blocking modifiers?

Is it every 10 levels where you can add 5 more points to the modifiers?

* From level 25-29, veteran abilities may go to level 5.
* From level 30-39, veteran abilities may go to level 10.
* From level 40 up, veteran abilities may go to level 15.

75% bonus to morale loss sounds like money to me. most players have poor confidence in the first place. I think morale will have more of an impact this season.

The pancakes won't last, if you put the points in it, you are banking on a reset next season.

If you are chill with that gamble, go ahead and do it.

So are Work-out Warrior and Great Blocker 1st tier for OT's ad Quick 2nd tier for VA's?

Bort said in his radio interview to expect new VA's fairly frequently. That tome says resets will becoming more and more frequent.

I like it a lot. Especially since Blocking is overrated across the O-line IMO. Workout Warrior > Quick >>> Great Blocker. With 124 strength I've dropped below 4 pancakes only once this season (including scrims), and I've played some good competition so far. Extra morale loss + moar stamina reduction from the revamped hands = win. The boosts to pancakes this season just makes it better. Maybe add that with a couple points of second wind and a powerback and you're asking to just run all over teams in the 4th quarter.

My C is going all-out with it after I max Workout Warrior. My strength is currently mid 110s not including the VA bonus. Pancake SA is getting up there and I have AEQ with +Pancake. I really just need to get my speed up, get level 40 equipment upgrades, get on a run-heavy team, and I'll get to reap the benefits. Maybe play out of position at LG or RG, who knows.

Man, nothing gets past these guys. I was trying to pull a fast one. I actually really like this one, but only if its used by your teams "pancakers" (Gs, Cs, maybe RTs). Since there are more pancakes this season, each good lineman will get 5+ each game. lets say you have 5 linemen with 5+ pancakes in a given game. That is 25 times in that game that a players moral is reduced 75% more. Each pancake will result in less moral, which means easier pancakes. If you have several guys with this maxed with a healthy dose of Second Wind, the snowball effect will take over.

Is there a reason you said RT's and not LT's. I play LT, have led in pancakes 4 seasons, including this one, and don't give up sacks (which is more important than pancakes). I'm just curious.
