Yazoo City Saints vs. Recife Gulls
Recife is plucky and plays fairly stingy D which might give them some hope, but they won't have enough in the tank to stop the Saints, who have been on a very impressive winning streak of late.
If Shane Falco can repeat last game's performance, this won't even be close as the Gulls offense is really struggling.
Mak's prediction: Saints take it 20-7.
FT. Campbell Rangers vs. Dread City Diabolicals
Dread City has been inconsistent, and despite Ft.Campbell's mini slump of late, they are a better team. Dread City has a puncher's chance though, and might just find a way to sneak out with a win. I believe they will, I'm picking them for the upset.
The Rangers have a fantastic offensive line, but I don't think they can handle Diabolicals defensive end Aleister Black. If he's able to cause havoc in the Rangers backfield, look out.
Mak's prediction: Dread City - 21-20.
Houston Bulls vs. Golden State Gorillas
Two tough, grind 'em out teams. One of them is undefeated. Is this the week the inevitable happens? Golden State has not been dominating as much as they have been efficient this year. Logic says they are beatable.
Houston has played teams tough and barely lost to the Lincoln Navigators early in the year - however, I think they just lack what it takes to crack the uncrackable nut, which is the Gorillaz defense.
