Two seasons in, level 23:

Attributes
Physical Attributes
Strength: 37.6
Speed: 8
Agility: 76.6
Jumping: 8
Stamina: 20.75
Vision: 22.6
Confidence: 22.6

Football Skills
Blocking: 78.6
Catching: 8
Tackling: 20.75
Throwing: 8
Carrying: 8
Kicking: 8
Punting: 8

The awful O line he was a part of gave up 24 sacks during the regular season. I think he gave up 4 sacks during the year. All were how happened in the manner you would expect. He engaged the guy and ended up being pushed down and the DE got to the QB. There were some hurries where the DE got the edge and he was too slow to get back to the pass rusher, but that didn't happen as often as you would expect. This was in a 28 capped league, but even the top pass rushers didn't eat him up.

Next season will focus on blocking while vision and confidence are trained. Fourth season will focus on strength while vision and confidence continue to increase. Fifth will cap vision and confidence while speed/stamina are trained. By the sixth season he should have great agility and blocking, decent strength, vision and confidence over 50 and speed and stamina approaching 50. Sixth season will be 25 skill points into speed and he should be able to effectively play LOT by the seventh as protect SA starts to get pumped.

Do you think that you are ignoring strength? I know that Agility is important, but my level 24 team's OTs have a lot more strength and only gave up 2 sacks. The interior gave up the others. I am building a line right now and started off training strength. I am just wondering the best way to build them.

I know I am ignoring strength, at least for the moment. In a LT build strength isn't (wasn't) as important as just getting in the way. I don't know if the changes to the push back structure have changed that at all. Maybe I will get pushed back more than a 90 str LT, but my agility should allow me to keep pace with most DE's. As I said before, strength will be worked on, but probably only to 68. If high strength DE's continue to be grow in prevalence, then there will be a problem. However, equipment will help make up for that. I just need enough not to get reverse pancaked.

Keep us posted on this very interesting build. The reason strength is supposed to be important is that once you block, I've heard the strength difference helps in holding that block. Is that agi/blk w/ or w/o equip? If it isn't, are you going to 5cap both attributes (that's what it seems like from yoru plan).

Agility is raw and blocking is with equipment. Blcoking to 5:1 next year. Right now it's at 65 or so IIRC.

i wanted to ensure i got strength and blocking to the appropriate caps (still a little ways to go) so i don't miss out on the natural points you get while leveling.

i plan to jam out on agility next season and take it up to the 5:1 cap, then bring speed up to around 60 finally. the end result (season 8) should look something like:

strength: 85
blocking: 75
agility: 100+
speed: 65

i plan to stay away from SA's by the way (besides the AEQ in "run block"), since pancake sucks balls, IMO. this build will also be very helpful in pulling to the outside

July update:
Physical Attributes
Strength: 41.8
Speed: 8
Agility: 77.8
Jumping: 8
Stamina: 22.26
Vision: 25.8
Confidence: 25.8

Football Skills
Blocking: 86.8
Catching: 8
Tackling: 22.26
Throwing: 8
Carrying: 8
Kicking: 8
Punting: 8

Pass tree: 1-1-1-1-3
Run tree: 0-0-0-0-0
Blocking +1.08
Hold block chance 8%

Blocking is starting to get there, but it is a slow progression. Right now blocking stands at 71.8. It is tempting to stop at 72.25, but I don't think that is enough. While it'd be nice to start working on strength and getting him to a point where he can contribute to a team in some form, long run is probably better if I push through to 77.3. Figure I can get there with the boosts for season 11, so everything should work out OK.

Thread deserves an update as I am 6 seasons in and the build is coming together nicely.
Physical Attributes
Strength: 79.76 (+6)
Speed: 36
Agility: 82.76
Jumping: 8
Stamina: 37.15
Vision: 34.76
Confidence: 34.76

Football Skills
Blocking: 105.76 (+24)
Catching: 8
Tackling: 27.15
Throwing: 8
Carrying: 8
Kicking: 8
Punting: 8

Special Abilities
Pass Blocking Abilities
Pass Block: 1
Shock Block: 1
Foundation: 1
Absorb Pain: 1
Protector: 9

Run Blocking Abilities
Run Block: 0
Get Low: 0
Hands: 0
Cut Block: 0
Pancake: 0

Veteran Abilities
Great Blocker: 14
Pass Blocker: 14

Strength is at 98% training, so I will take it over the cap after I boost for next season. That will put strength over 81. It'd be nice to use my next boosts to take strength up to a natural 77, but speed can't wait. I am training speed during this offseason and depending on length should be able to get it to 39 or 40. With next seasons boosts, speed will go up to 51 or so. I've signed onto a SLAP team, so I cannot keep neglecting speed going up against finished DE's. All the SA's are from AEQ. At some point one of the protecters will go for a hold block piece, but that is in the future.

Strength is worth more in the sim than when I first started this plan, but so far he is holding up quite well. Hopefully he will continue to do so, because I just took a big jump in difficulty going from a cap 42 team to the pros.

Has 75str, has never had any problems. The interesting part is that he run blocks better than heavy str OT's.

Hey man, I would have appreciated some sort of reply to my PMs. Going AWOL randomly screws my team over for recruiting because I kept that spot open for you.

As for your OT, you are right. Speed is definitely the biggest concern right now. What are your SA goals? Taking strength up to 77 might not allow you to round out his build much.

I am sorry, I thought that I let you know. I won't play with DrkSandman. There are only a couple of mods that I have found to be tremendously unprofessional and he is one of them. I did not mean to leave you hanging. I thought that I had given you a heads up. I apologize.
