I'm glad you posted this because it got me thinking. Vision might be underrated for center. Why? Remember Bort has said vision is not just the sensation of seeing, but also overall strategic knowledge. How important is the latter IRL? Following my instincts, I pulled this off the Web:
"[A center must] have an above average intelligence. The center must know what everyone else is doing on the offensive line, as well as his own assignments. In addition, a center reads the defense in seconds before a play begins and chooses what pass protection play is best. Does this translate to GLB? In the very least, it sounds like what Line General SA is all about to me. If you want Line General to be effective, better have at least 61 in vision, imo. Makes me wonder how well a line would work with a center at 68? Thoughts?
