Warrior General Games

Well this offseason is dragging on like no other before it and with new features has come a lot of bugs and controversy. Since season 8 doesn't seem to be happening until next week at the earliest (pure speculation on my part) I was wondering what some of my fellow OPRO colleagues thought about some of the shit that is happening with the game right now. With "servergate" and the latest VA exploit it seems that the reputation of GLB has taken quite a rocking over the past week.

Where do you all stand on the game right now? Personally I thought the test server stuff was pretty overblown, though concerns were somewhat founded. But the complete exploitation of VA and, apparently, SP distribution has me a little jaded on things right now. If I hadn't just purchased a team and extended it for 5 seasons I would probably consider more seriously quitting the game, but alas I think I'll still be around.

Not worried in the least bit. A couple days is not a big deal and all the servergate, VA and SP things are also overblown and will get fixed.

This is the time when Bort is fixing "OMG END OF GLB" bugs that come with every game. Give him the extra time to work on some kinks so we don't have to deal with the shit early in the season.

One thing stands true any online game has alot of players trying to enjoy it, a few players whining their ass off, and an even fewer amount trying to cheat.

This game is very fun and addicting and I will not leave for the forseeable future.

he doesn't concern me but the smart player who would add a little bit here and there does.

This is a blackeye on GLB for sure but I really do not know if it is recent or widespread. In fact no one does not even Bort. He said 3 people but how could you test 1.5 million players in 35 minutes. Pretty impossible to ever be sure.

That link doesn't scare me the bit. Easy to detect. What scares me is that I had someone who isn't on my team or associated with my team IM'ing me this morning the supposed SP exploit. I'm not sure if it was the right details, but they were basically saying to install and old version of IE6 and you could add extra SP to players who had some to spend yet.

I don't think Bort has any hopes of catching someone who was smart enough to only give each of their players a small amount of stolen SP.

Yeah, I'm not concerned about somebody actually having 100 in every attribute - but rather it concerns me that the exploit is/was even out there. I think it's been closed up now, but who knows how long and how many people have that 5, 10, or 15 point edge in vital attributes that would be very hard to detect.

But if Osaka doesn't win the championship then I know all of you are SP cheaters who got away with it.

I've seen some of the guys that have been on Osaka and have scouted them a couple of times. They got good players, but their gameplanning is really good. They didn't just bowl people over all the time they usually just used a few formations and the other team wouldn't be able to stop everything.
