OH and as far as scrimmages go. Ive said this before. I shoud just make a thread with it in the title though. We dont scrimmage. No point because we would play on basic settings and not gameplan for it. The main reasons are..........
1) We work season long on scouting. Its already begun for us. I have almost 200 builds from EEA that were open stored away and though at first i was nervous moving up that it may be a season that we just work on builds i'm confident now that we'll at the very least make the playoffs.
We use every moment we have to scout and gameplan.
2) Gameplanning. We are all over this. Not only do we have superior builds but we have GM's that know their stuff. Our OC won 5 golds last season for teams he OC's and our DC won 4 golds for teams he DC's. Each of them has countless silvers from season 7 and many other trophys from previous seasons. The minute we get the sim we are preparing for the next game.
3) This should prolly be number one and the biggest reason by far though i kind of mentioned it in #1. We would never prepare for a scrimmage because were completly sold on the idea that we dont want to give any games away when being scouted. You get what you get and thats it.
We ran into a problem scouting the Funky Bunch last season. I set up the game thread on forums and got right to work with scouting. I couldnt find a game at all worth scouting in the regular season or scrimmages. We were basicially forced to go with what we knew we could do at that moment and it was run. Our QB;s and WR's werent fully developed yet to where we wanted them and the game was to big. Well they KNEW we were going to run and luckily we had a great gameplan and won. We were blind as shit on defense though. They blew out every team they played.
So yah, we dont scrimmage. We may eventually but not when the leagues are this tight. Like i said, you get what you get and thats it. We dont play this game to give anything away.
