Week 5- Eastern

Kentucky knew coming into Tuesday's game that they controled their own destiny. If they lost, they'd have to work their tails off. If they won, they could continue the dream of being undefeated. The Wildcats (5-0) continued the dream by defeating the Philadelphia Slugs (0-4-1) 28-13. Kentucky got off to a fast start with the help of Andre Woodson (justafish2002, KY) and Justin Fischesser (justafish2002, KY). First, Woodson found Fischesser for a 11 yard touchdown on the first drive of the game. Later in the first quarter, Woodson threw to Fischesser again for another 11 yard touchdown, but the Wildcats weren't done yet. Cullen Crouch (CPU, KY) ran in a 4 yard touchdown to give Kentucky a 21-0 lead heading into halftime.
Kentucky's defense never lost a beat in the third quarter holding them to 19 yards on 15 plays. Andre Woodson really stuck it to the Slugs, when he found Hands McGee (Bort, KY) for a 12 yard touchdown pass giving Kentucky a 28-0 lead. The shutout lasted until 2:32 remained in the game when Keon Cotton (CPU, PHI) passed to Josiah Tracy (CPU, PHI) on consectutive drives for touchdowns of 6 and 4 yards.
Justafish said after the game, "This win really shows everyone in the Pro League what we're all about. We aren't going anywhere but to the Goalline Blitz Championship Game. No one has beaten this defense led by Mike, and Andre and Justin have a connection matched by no one. Simply put, this is how you win."
The Northeast Airlines' Offensive and Defensive Players of the Game are Andre Woodson and Mike Owens (Coolwhip, KY). Woodson threw went 21 for 38 for 212 yards and 3 touchdowns passing. Owens had 8 tackles, another 5 sacks, and 15 more hurries to add on to his league leading total.

The Detroit Nasty already knew the Wildcats had won when they took the field against the Houston Ballers (1-4). Then, the Nasty (5-0) went out and did some butt whipping of their own destorying the Ballers 37-0. Jamie Madrox (Juggalokai, DET), arguably the best kicker in the league, started off the game with a 43 yard field goal. Then came the Nasty "Brown Wave". Julius Brown (DeWittFootball, DET), the early MVP canidate, finished 2 of the next three drives with touchdown runs of 8 and 5 yards. Just before the half ended, Star Quarterback (tiancxo38, DET) found Greg Rice (Galkuris, DET), the quiet canidate for Reciever of the Year, for a 15 yard touchdown and a 24-0 lead at the half.
It began to stink again in the third quarter when the "Brown Wave" rushed into the endzone for a 15 yard touchdown. Then Madrox finished off the game kicking the ball distances of 33 and 47 yards for six points and the 37-0 victory.

The Biller Lite Offensive and Defensive Players of the Game were Julius Brown and Hot Potato (username, DET). Brown rushed for 156 yards on 46 rushes. Potato made 21 tackles, 12 sacks, and ten hurries.
