OK in all seriousness what was the plan then? Say just for shits and giggles that the run up the middle with 36 seconds left went like the rest of the runs went the whole game and gained say 5 yards ( I am not sure what his avg was without the long run) so after you run that 3 times and burn your timeouts you would be around your own 35-40 yard line with 20 - 25 seconds left to play. How exactly does that sound like a good strategy? I know it worked out but you weren't expecting an 80 yard run so I am a little confused as to what you were trying to accomplish.

no, no look at that exact play and you will see it was netting 10-15 yards against your defense in the 4th quarter. For further evidence, you will notice that the play before that was the same exact call except your blitzer wasnt picked up by KB. I knew if he got passed the los then all he had was safeties that would be in cover 2 so effectively the middle of the field would be open. It was something I abused effectively well in the 4th quarter, watch the replays again and you will see it. So I was figuring 3 runs up the middle netting 10-15 yards would put us into FG range, or damn close to it with time left on the clock.

Like I said, good game and we both can gameplan like some mofos thats without a doubt. This would be where you humbly accept my props to you and say good game Mountaineers. For the record, thats two games where my 2 minute offense has scored one you guys using different setups. Learn from it and bring it next game, its what really makes this game fun to me.

Either way Jrock, i don't know where you got that he was saying" Hey i planned for that run right there and i planned it to open up with seconds left on the clock in the 4th to go to the house" All he said was he set up the AI to have those play calls in that situation. So no need for pointing of fingers or hurt ego's. It was a Damn good game which could have went either way a few times. An just so happens we came out the victors with a good game plan and players.

The middle of the field was wide open! All he has to do was get through the line and he was one missed tackle away from a TD. Would it be smarter for him to throw to one of his receivers that you were doubling up on? I really don't understand how you can question if that was a good strategy when they scored a 70 yard touchdown on you. It wasn't a freak play where the HB broke 10 tackles. When a back is one on one with a safety in the open field, a missed tackle is not unheard of.
