"Hull City Mourning"

(AP, Hull City)

The Hull City Tigers' (a Western Europe A #5 football franchise) players awoke this morning to find their franchise abandoned and financially in the red. It is not know whether or not the team's owner had abandoned the team or simply not renewed his ownership.

What is known, however, is that other teams will benefit from the chaos unfolding in Hull City today. Agents are actively scrambling in attempts to secure Season 8 teams for their players who's daily salaries, as a result of the team's disastrous financial situation, are not being paid.

A shroud of uncertainty has surrounded this once promising franchise. With no owner, rising debts and skilled players defecting, the only certainty about the Tigers is that it will require a new dedicated owner and a miracle to salvage this sinking ship.

Last season's starting LOLB Olavi Strömblad is quoted as saying: "I woke up this morning with a change of heart. A week of soul searching has led me to reverse my decision of retiring early. It surely is a hard pill to swallow and my teammates are set to leave this squad." It is reported that Strömblad has already attracted the attention of a few teams looking to benefit from this tragedy. Says Strömblad: "We still can't believe it. Darren's (Darren Grant, WR) phone call this morning has us scratching our heads."

If you are a CPU team today, it's either because the team went into the red, or the owner sold out.

Either way, that is unfortunate.

Ja... I'm certainly not complaining. My LOLB's contract was set to expire in 4 days regardless.
It's just my twisted commentary. A heads-up to the league.
