Sorry I had to post a rant where most of the people I'm trying to recruit won't read it, if any.

I've been turned down by several players who said they already have offers of 10k a day. Now I understand you want money for your player, but 10k a day is ridiculous. I have a fully upgraded stadium, and I wouldn't consider paying that for a single position. Call me stingy, call me savvy, whatever. Granted I don't want the "me before team" type to begin with, but this is outlandish.

TEs UNDER level 40 getting this. TEs! I'm getting people in the 7-8k range too, but that's a little easier to see.

Now I could afford to pay these kids what they want, spending 16 million a season on salary alone, but I know Bort has future plans for money, and I'm not going to waste money on someone who will probably leave in a season to pursue even more money.

Recruiting is crazy, finding reasonable agents is so difficult, that's why receuiters are so much more important than people give them credit for. I <3 my recruiters.

I don't mind recruiting... but seeing so many stupid people recruiting... it's frustrating

This is something that I really hate about this game. I think last year I sent out about 100 offers and I signed 1. So one percent return on all that effort. Yeah, that sucks. But it is another reason to want to win. It has to be easier to recruit at the higher levels.

But if I have more money to do nothing with, it makes me feel better. Its like real life, i wanna get paid what I deserve, which means 10k plus salaries. I need to show my bling.

Maybe we need a salary Cap.

If they just took out the player salary and made it X amount for X number of seasons and maybe another tier for starters vs back ups, man I would be happier.

Really knocks the fun out of the game as well

I am adding my own players to my team until I own 100% of it .... expensive but sure beats a-hole agents

I'd love to... but I'm forced to retire players now...

This is true, and is one of the many reasons that the "recruit better" response to complaints is particularly absurd. There is much more demand for high level players than supply. If you think about it, the number of teams in each tier remains constant, but due to retirements the number of players suitable for those higher tiers tends to decrease.
