-----a. If there are only 2 teams, it's just based upon the head-to-head matchup

Not sure where you're getting your numbers, Dave.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/team_stats.pl?league_id=96&conference_id=0&stat=other&sort=points_scored&playoffs=0

Singapore has 1325 points on the season.
Surabaya has 1169.
Beijing has 1154.

I believe the standings are correct as they look right now. We host Jambi, you host Taiwan.

I made the assumption that the tie-break scoring does not count points scored over 255 in a game. If that is the case then I'd be correct. If it does count those points then you are indeed correct.

Ah, okay, you added up the points by hand from the team pages. Yeah, the 255 limit is only because an integer is used to display those fields in a lot of places... the "real" score is counted towards season totals. Speaking of, Chiang Mai allowed a VERY impressive 4058 points this season... there should be some sort of trophy for that, it's more than double the next highest total.

Just take care of business in the first round and we can get that rematch in round two! :-D

Three amazing seasons, but only one can end in a title game appearance... or will some upstart come and knock us all off?

I'm just glad to get the 1 spot and only have to face one of the other 15-1s (assuming we can all win the games we are supposed to)

If any upstart has the momentum and should be feared as a spoiler to our three 15-1 teams, I'd say that'd be Haiphong Red Dragons who finished playing some very solid football.

Haiphong definitely closed out the season strong and was only a few points here and there away from being 13-3. The Bangkok Dragons are also a threat, they played several of the top teams close. That first-round matchup should be very exciting.

I think Haiphong continues their streak, they've gotten around the losses that stopped that huge win streak but edge out a close one against Bangkok. two tough teams in what should be a close game.

GG Bangkok, and good luck.
