Meaningful positions that can be clinched this week:

ALPHA:

Stockholm clinches #1 seed for Alpha with a win or Helsinki loss.
Helsinki clinches #2 seed for Alpha with a win or Cologne loss.
Athens clinches home playoff game in 1st round with a win or a South Beach and Dusseldorf loss.

ZETA:

Baden clinches #2 seed for Zeta with a win and a Berlin and Atlanta loss.
Berlin clinches home playoff game in 1st round with a win.
Stockholm clinches playoff berth with a win and a Luxembourg loss, or with a Denver and Middlesbrough loss.

Thoughts: Playoff picture is now clear in Zeta, even though Alpha's got pretty close to being muddled with yet another stinker, this time against Norwich. Barcelona is lucky they have 1-13 Gonadian on their last game, because if they lost it, they would be out of the playoffs. Baden and Helsinki took care of business this week, and as a reward both are close to locking up the #2 seeds in their conferences. Palermo is clearly peaking at the right time, and if they hadn't been so erratic in the beginning of the season they could be looking at a potential home game in the playoffs, although their playoff position is very good if they stay in the 6-7 range, I can see them knocking off Berlin or Baden and then beating the other in the 2nd round if they stay in that seeding range. Luxembourg's season can be chalked up to what might have been, if only they had closed against Middlesbrough, Baden, or Berlin, they could be sitting very pretty in the playoffs, although they can try to spoil Atlanta's hopes for a seed higher than fourth this week. Unfortunately I do not think we will get to see a rematch of Athens and Helsinki in the playoffs, but Athens against South Beach should be excellent round 1 action, and the likely matchup of Cologne and Helsinki in round 2 is delicious. Here's hoping to Palermo getting another crack at Berlin, Atlanta, or Baden in round 1, to give BBB7 the best chance of a legitimate upset in the playoffs.

Btw, it's probably best to not respond to the BBB3 Stallyn guys in their threads, if the goal is to get them to stop.
