Wow... some major games were played and some statements about the playoff race have been made.

Cheeseburgers established themselves as the #1 team in the East with their dominating win over the Vampires.

The Red Lights put a beating on another top 5 team (Gravenhurst last week, Moose this week) to show they're for real (and possibly in need of drug testing )

The Valiants made the bottom half of the Playoff Race interesting with their "killing" of the Roughnecks!

The Playoff Picture going into Week 13:

1) Paradise Cheeseburgers (12-0): Have beat EVERYONE! Still have to face the Moose and Red Light... tough games but should win.

2) Windsor Vampires (11-1): Have beat EVERYONE, except the Cheeseburgers! Toughest team to face is the Valiants.

3) Windsor Red Light (9-3): Earned this spot with wins over Ghost Ridahz and Moose. Still have Cheeseburgers and Moosemen to face.

4) Gravenhurst Ghost Ridahz (9-3): Stumbled and bumbled into this position... still have Moosemen, Roughnecks, and Refugees to face.

5) Edmonton Moose (9-3): Fell to this spot with losses to Red Light and Ghost Ridahz. Still have to face Cheeseburgers and Valiants.

6) Vancouver Valiants (8-4): Played themselves into the playoff race with a win over the Roughnecks. Still to face Vampires and Moose.

7) Vancouver Refugees (8-4): "Easiest" remaining schedule of the (8-4) teams. Still need to face Ghost Ridahz and Moosemen. Go 2-2 and beat Moosemen their in!

8) Aspermount Roughnecks (7-5): Controversial ranking... only the Ghost Ridahz in the next 4 games... the rest should be wins. Go 2-2, but need Refugees to beat Moosemen for them to be in.

9) Manitoba Moosemen (8-4): Could win any or all of their upcoming games... Ghost Ridahz, Red Light, and Refugees on tap. Need to go 2-2 and beat Refugees to be in... but they have the toughest schedule between the Refugees, Roughnecks, and Moosemen.

The way I predict it... Valiants, Moosemen, and Refugees go 2-2 for the last 4. I see Aspermount going 3-1 in the last 4. [EDIT]: It seems that the Week 16 Moosemen v. Refugees match-up will be HUGE!

I would agree that they're the best team in the conference, but you're right.. anything can happen... especially in this Conference. This has got to be the toughest Conference, looking at #1 - 8!

Yeah... I missed your's! I figure with the 3 impact game results this week, we have a nice picture of the playoff race!

BTW.. don't stumble against the Moose or Red Light.. Moose are MAD, Red Light are HOT!

We'll try and put something together to give them a run for their money, but they are clearly the most talented team in a very talented conference.

Yup, just like in the game of college basketball...

Boston College > UNC

then

Harvard > Boston College

so

Harvard > UNC?

Good write up slimer. Appreciate people who take the time to do these. I wouldn't call our remaining schedule the "easiest" even with the quotes. Moosemen and the Ghost Riders are gonna be tough for us and the Vipers have always given us a tough game going back to BBB7. Our team is virtually unchanged from the team we had last season so it's been a surprise that we have performed as well as we have so far. Although not taking anything away from the Valiants, our QB throwing 4 int TDs in the 4th quarter, 5 in the game was a bit ridiculous which I take as an anomaly in the SIM. Not saying the outcome would have been different but the score didn't reflect the game unfortunately. 35 points on int TDs seems a little unrealistic when 2 teams were pretty evenly matched.

Well, I'd say it's the "easiest" cuz

the Moose are facing you (Refugees), us (Ghost Ridahs) and the red hot Red Light

and

the Valiants are facing the Moose and Vampire.

True, you won't have an easy time, but I'd rather have your match-ups than the other two teams!

This is going to be an exciting 4 weeks of games!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if Aspermount goes 3-1 to finish and the Valiants and refugees go 2-2 we finish with the same record and we get in over them with our head-to-head victorys over both.

Let's see... ASSUPMTION: Valiants, Roughnecks, Moosemen, Refugees all finish 10-6

Valiants: Win over Roughnecks, Win over Refugees, Loss to Moosemen
Roughnecks: Loss to Valiants, Loss to Refugees, Win over Moosemen
Moosemen: Loss over Roughnecks, ? to Refugees, Win over Valiants
Refugees: Win over Roughnecks, Loss to Valiants, ? to Moosemen

So I stand corrected on my rankings, based on the assumption that all finish 10-6,

Valiants should be in the playoffs,

If Moosemen beat Refugees: Moosemen in, Refugees in due to their win over Roughnecks
If Refugees beat Moosemen: Refugees in, Roughnecks in due to their win over Moosemen

Does this sound right?
