Zeta is a fucking meat grinder over there. You all have quite a few teams to pad stats on but the top 6 is stout.
Definitely a good bit of stat-padding beating up on Nauru, Horsemen, Rocky Mountain, and Polynesian.
But outside that, the Top 8 have really beat up on each other this season.
Tonga's a mystery to me. Our defense is playing like a championship-caliber defense, off an AI that's virtually trial-and-error patchwork; we gave up just 31 on Portland, 19 on Kingston and 13 on Tortuga. Our offense (which is my natural inclination and specialty) is sputtering like a Yugo running on water, and I'm dumbfounded as to why. I put literally 12 hours into my last gameplan just to watch it fall flat on its face.
It wouldn't shock me to see any of the Top 6 teams win Zeta this year. Even Solomon Islands and Dunedin aren't gimmes (and I know about that one). Last year the #4-seed and the #6-seed squared off in the Zeta title game. If things stand as they are right now, I wouldn't mind an encore!
Mofas lucked up and had the Devils beat the Panthers. Sets us up nicely for the #1 seed if we can take care of business against the Ironmen.
