Forum > Oceania AA Leagues > Oceania AA #2 > Week 11 power ranking (Brad's Version)
Link

Alpha:

#1. Golden Coast Titanz, Not exactly the score I expected (no offense to Heard Island), but a win no matter. Golden Coast is just looking amazing. There is really not much else to say besides, wow.

#2. Bay City Bohica, A 3 point win over Moai is keeping their spot. What an impressive team. The Bohica are playing some amazing football. Just look at that passing attack.

#3. Easter Island Moai, They keep on showing me just how great they are, but oh babe is my blood rushing. Week 12 is THE showdown for Moai. Big, huge few days ahead for the gameplanners.

#4. Amarillo Super Frogs, That was an impressive win. This team, with that win, has proven they are a very good team. They had every opportunity to fold up in that game and be an average team, but nope. They are really showing just how dangerous they can be on a consistent basis.

#5. Palau Pimp Smackers, Welcome back to the top 5! Not seen you up here in a while my old friends. 5 straight wins? Not bad at all, but They are headed to Amarillo in week 12, oh fun.

Zeta:

#1. Hueco Mundo Hollows, You know how there is things in life you know will happen? My alarm clock will go off way to early, my fiance will call me to make sure I am awake, ect... Knowing Hueco will win is like one of those things lately.

#2. Asau Assassins, Coney played them a little closer than I am sure Asau would have liked, but a win is a win is a win. Asau is a super team and has a great roll going.

#3. Davy Jones' Locker Pirate Ghosts, They are so strange! One week they lose to Coney, next they beat SSP... That makes no sense. Davy is a very solid team despite the slip.

#4. Fiji Panzers, Well... They pretty much were pretty mean to Atlantis. 53 points is a pretty big margin of victory. Not bad.

#5. Sumatra Sea Hawks, Very, very big win. Krakatoa could have put Sumatra out of the ranking potentially, but the Hawks showed some backbone and played great football.

Games to Watch

Alpha:

Easter Island Moai @ Golden Coast Titanz.
Could this be a battle for #1? I think so. Both teams are playing just AmAzInG football. This is one of those games that everybody will be watching for.

Also a quick mention to check out the Palau @ Amarillo game. That is
HUGE for both teams also.

Zeta:

Sumatra Sea Hawks @ Sempre-Sabbath Phenix.
Both teams need it bad, but maybe a little more for SSP. They are fighting to keep the #8 seed and there is a lot of competition down there. Sumatra needs to make sure and lock up this game because they need the seeding also. Big playoff implications are potentially here.

If everything goes as we expect, it's looking like a rematch chance for Sumatra to get back at us. Can be looked at 2 ways...

1. Damn why do we have such a tough first round matchup

or

2. To be the best you have to beat the best and sumatra has been that standard for a while. Much respect for them.

But like has been said over and over, no game in the playoffs will be a cakewalk, even the 1 vs 8 seed game is going to be a barn burner.

The last few weeks are going to have some huge games determining the first round playoff matchups, it's been a fun season, and the playoffs are going to be amazing!

Thanks for the props, but nothing has gone as expected this season, so I don't expect it to start now!

Deathgrip has taken a vacation this season, maybe he'll show up for round 1. Sumatra isn't the same without him causing mayhem in the the opponents backfield.

Pretty sure Deathgrip will probably be useless the rest of the season (including playoffs). The Bugs forum has multiple threads with people complaining about how DE's went from Dominant last year to isignificant this year. Apparently Bort nerfed the O-line to be much stronger and pretty much switched the pendulum to weigh heavily with the offensive line. Probably will nerf it again after this season and Deathgrip will be back to causing destruction to other teams QBs....or it may be broke for a while.

That is the only thing I don't like about this game. You have to beat the game itself to be good. It killed my running game with some of the changes. My RB went from having about 150 per game to nothing now. It is crazy!

I thought he nerfed the cheating D-Linemen who became great by putting Skill Points into Kicking and exploited the Kicking bug?

Just needed to fill some holes and we knew things would open up some. We did have to put a bit of work in this one to make sure we didnt fall out. Energy was our #1 issue and at this point we should be able to continue to play SSP football and give that #1 seed all they can handle.

I hope David and tgyfridays do not cry, I know they have both been clinging to this all season long.

We got a good sim...Our only shot in the playoffs is to NOT see you again...No way the sim gives us that edge twice.
