I have seen a player who has a RT with almost 30 Jumping. What good is that for a RT? To me it seems like a complete waste of about 22 points, what say the masses?

i guess in theory it could help you dive at a defender who is going past you (it works as a diving tackle, so it could work as a diving block) ..... no idea if it actually does tho !

Bort already said jumping does absolutely nothing for o-linemen. Nothing.

Good to know. I've always assumed that and never put any points in jumping for my linemen, but I've never seen it confirmed by Bort.

That's actually very good to know because I've seen so many people on these boards tout the Superior Equipment that comes with +3 Jumping for O-Line and I'm sitting here with this confused-ass look on my face wonder what people are thinking.

The only reason I'd see any reason for putting any points into jumping was if it somehow had any effect on the O-Lineman's ability to "fire" out of their stance. But apparently it does not do that.

I trained a couple of my linemans jumping up to 20 for the hell of it. There is absolutely 0 benefit though.

all of these little attributes like catching and jumping can make a difference. imagine if a DT tips a pass. if you have a little jumping/catching maybe you'll keep that sucker from being intercepted. sure its not important during every play. but that once in a lifetime play will happen and you'll wish you had a little bit.

if you're training or assigning SPs based on "once in a lifetime" possibilites, you're in deep deep shit
