Alpha:

#1. Golden Coast Titanz, The newly crowned #1 team in Alpha flexed their muscles again laying down a good West Canaan team. Very impressive win again. This team in on fire.

#2. Bay City Bohica, They win again. I am still so impressed with wins over Moai and Guam, that is just great.

#3. Easter Island Moai, They are just working their way back up and just hit the top three again. They are just playing great ball and I don't expect much of anything else from them but some great football.

#4. Amarillo Super Frogs, One could still say that they have not faced a ton of opposition, but what they have faced, they have done very well.

#5. Guam Gamecocks, They still hold grasp to a top 5 spot, but that loss almost dropped them out. They are doing great and it is hard to imagine that a 2 loss team could almost miss out on the top 5.

Zeta:

#1. Davy Jones' Locker Pirate Ghosts, They did it! They finally lay claim to the top hole in Zeta. They are the only undefeated team left in OAA#2; what an impressive feat considering they are freshly promoted.

#2. Hueco Mundo Hollows, They take a big jump on the list. They have wins over Asau, Coney, Atlantis, Krakatoa, A-State, and SSPl; amazing! This is a huge jump up the ranking, but they have earned it.

#3. Asau Assassins, With wins over Sumatra and Perth they are looking good. They have also taken down A-State and Atlantis, two teams that are still pretty good.

#4. Fiji Panzers, They drop down to the #4 hole with the loss. They are still a great team and are just playing some super ball. I am sure that they hate the loss, but are still proud to be 7-1.

#5. Sumatra Sea Hawks, They have some nice wins over A-State, Atlantis and Perth, but oohhh babe! That win over Golden Coast is looking really, really good right now.

Games to Watch

Alpha:

Amarillo Super Frogs @ Easter Island Moai.
What a matchup! Easter Island is a great team and a super competitor, but can they handle the Frogs? Amarillo is a little bit of a mystery in my mind. They have some nice wins, but they really need this win to prove to me they are elite material.

Zeta:

Fiji Panzers @ Sumatra Sea Hawks.
Fiji just lost to Davy and now has to take a turn and go on the road to Sumatra; that will be tough. Sumatra really needs this win. They are down on the bottom of the actual game rankings due to lack of points. This win could take them up a notch or two. Fiji needs this badly as well.

We have teams 3 - 8 in the Standings left to play. Our work is far from over.

Fiji dropped to #4? Wow, they got the Davy treatment, lol! An OT loss between two undefeated teams, I'd have a hard time dropping the other team to #4 from #1.

Yeah our schedule isn't very fun the rest of the way. We had all our give me games early on.

We got a couple games coming up that if we win we will easily move up again. However taking on Sumatra and Asau is going to be a rough couple games. I think it'd be a success if we split the games between the two. Loving the competitiveness of this league.

AJ Theisman is going to need a psychiatrist after this one. Even with all of Bort's help to nerf the DE, i bet i still get 2 or 3 licks on AJ.

It is crazy. I was a little suprised also, but if you compare them indepth, I think the ranking is right.

Good write up as usual....dont mind dropping to #4 , we could easily lose the next 2. We did beat the Hollows by 20 though....

Theismans stats the last 2 games against Mr. Deathgrip.........yes sacked 13 times but.......848 yards 7 TDs 1 int...the only stat that counts for me is....0-2......

Oh yeah, I understand. Really each of the top 5 teams can be interchanged. Davy is 8-0, and each of Hueco, Asau, Fiji, and Sumatra are 7-1. Each of those losses is only to each other.

(5) Sumatra lost to Asau (by 4points) - #5, but they have a nice win over Golden Coast, I could argue them #4 now.
(4) Asau lost to Hueco (by 22 points) - Beat Sumatra by 4, but they did have an ugly loss to a fellow high ranked team.
(3) Hueco lost to Fiji (by 20 points) - At a glance, they played very few crap teams, big win against Asau but big loss to Fiji.
(2) Fiji lost to Davy (by 7 in OT) - Beat down Hueco, which climbs them up the rankings, but an OT loss to Davy keeps them from #1.
(1) Davy beat Fiji (by 7 in OT) - First half of the season was an easy schedule, but they catch hell the rest of the way. Between impressive, though easy, wins, a good pre-season rank, and a W against a great Fiji team in OT, they take the top spot. The murderers row for this team is yet to come, so this top ranking is far from safe.

That's about how I'd rank the teams. Even that said, any one of these teams is a danger to the other despite already having beaten one or the other.

Like I said so many quality teams at the top of Zeta. 1-6 is gonna be a dogfight.

There are so many quality teams in this whole damn league! Both conferences.

This has got to be one of the best most competetive leagues in this whole game this season. We are strong and equal throughout almost. Ofcourse there will always be a couple slow builds going on, and a couple of new owners/GM's who have no experience. But besides that.

This league as a whole is a great league to be apart of this season. You skip a beat and you will lose! That really makes it fun to be in a league with active knowledgable owners/GM's/agents.

This is a fun season, and i know the playoffs are going to be a total rat race in both conferences.
