does that count?

Ugh, I thought we had you guys there for a while. 17-7 at the beginning of the 2nd, but yalls depth and D-line prevailed. Good game, we'll see you again.

yeah, -12 rushing yards allowed.

that'll do it.

I just watched the game and man Ted Borg got torn apart. It wasn't the same play call 70 times, it was a certain set of plays but a really good set. I saw a ton of Shotgun Double Slant early in the game but only here and there later. It was certainly a passing offense which they've had all year, it doesn't look too much different from what they have been doing all season. They have fast WRs and they exploited the Maulers aggressive settings, well game planned and hell of a job passing the ball by Leonard Carmody, he saw every open player there was.

We weren't using agressive settings actually, never have. They just played 20+yds passes the whole time that takes advantage of the coverage bug Bort has with the sim this year, 80% of their offence was trying to exploit this bug. I don't mind one trick ponies, it's a decent gamble, I do feel a bit pissed losing to people exploiting a bug.

My own fault though, they tried a beta version of the same offence against Bay Area, so I made some changes for it with the expectation of maybe 50%, and being able to just play percentages, but gambled on them not turning it into a joke of a game by running it as their entire offence. Shoulda gone with the proper changes, and not the half-assed modifications I did use.

Well we get them next so I'll do my best to stop it... I think I have an idea

Good luck, as far as I know there is no way to stop it, no team in GLB will keep a team exploiting it for 80% of their offence under 30 points of Oakyville's level. It's the cheapest offence in the game atm, probably worse than the WR screens were last season as it goes for more yardage each time.

There are ways around just about every "exploit" in this game. There were people who created OT's that could shut down elite DE's. Or found ways to counter it. People found a way to stop the Strong I OT run, as well as the screen passes. This is no different.

Meh!, i'd be glad to hear it, as far as I know it's an issue on any coverage from close/agressive out to medium/medium, and beyond that coverage is useless, so curious how it will be dealt with. I'm guessing close/medium or medium/semi-agressive would contain the best of the options but it's still a cheap option.

there's a difference betwwen exploiting a hole in a team's game plan, and exploiting a hole in programming, especiailly since you can't adjust mid-game.

the latter is cheap. period.
