I wouldn't say that tdot. These rankings are also based on the level of competition. Had you beaten a better team and gotten the stats that you did then you would probably move up. I'm not saying you won't move up a spot or two but I would look for a giant leap. Last season we had the same thing happen. We beat up on the lower teams and the CPU team and stayed around #13 until later in the season when we dropped to #15. We beat the teams we should have beaten and won a game or two against teams we were underdogs. The rest of the games we were big underdogs and lost those games. All in all I believe that this is just about the purest rankings you can get though. It actually does base itself off of your competition. You should ask GMC what the computer percentage was for you to win the game. I bet it was in the 75-85% range for you to get the W. The closer the percentages like a 50-50 game that you win will help you move up most of the time. If you win a game you are an underdog in you'll move up most of the time too. That's what I gathered from last season though.

Weyburn moved up 7 spots after beating a team that was probably supposed to beat us. We just beat a team that was 6-0 going into our game tonight so we may move up a spot or two more for the next rankings. It all just really depends.

I only read the first statement, and I'm p sure nothing of this equation is based on level of competition, but I may be wrong.

Atlanta Flash is better than Borts in every statistical feild yet they are below them?? What else could it be but level of competition?? They even spanked Bort head to head, they're 6-1 and in 4th place for god's sake!!

I'm pretty sure it is StoutOne. We lost our first 5 games and outgained 2 of those teams in yards but dropped 2 spots in the rankings. We then were outgained by 3 teams and dropped 4 spots in the rankings. Weyburn won their 6th game of the season and outgained that team in yards and moved up 7 spots. We just won our 7th game of the season and were outgained in yards but I think that we will move up a spot or two.

What this means is that we played pretty much the meat grinder of the East in our first 5 games minus one team and lost those games. These teams (competition) were better than us and we dropped in the rankings from 18th to 26th. Now we are getting into the "softer" portion of our season (minus one team) and we moved up 7 spots. I would have to say that this is based on the level of competition that you are playing. The spreadsheet does take into consideration though if the team is a CPU team or a gutted lower team. You may very well go for over 1000 yards against a team on here but you may not move up and even drop in the rankings due to what the spreadsheet comes up with. Ask GMC to explain better. The computer also gives out a percentage for a chance for you to win or lose the game. Being a part of the Bastards team I'm sure that you guys will have the upper hand in most if not all your games.
