I know its just rankings but come on....even the BCS doesnt make those kinds of errors.

They played a 7-0 team, is the only reason they made such a big jump, same reason we'll drop from 1st after next game having to play Oakyville.

But if you win and Bay Area loses then dropping you to #2 would be absurd.
7-0 with no quality wins doesnt mean all that much either.

Oh god you are so full of it. Now Roswell isn't a quality win. That just proves you are just a freakin hater. Can't wait till we play you, I asked you to send me a scrimmage so we can prove who is better, but I received no such offer. I can't send one because I have too many pending. I have one against Holly next that will be a tough, tough game. I don't make the schedule I just play it.

All that matters is the "W" and right now Bay Area is tied for the most in this league.

Yeah, the more winning teams you play the higher your RPI is. Look at college basketball, a team can be 8-6 and be 50 places higher in the RPI then some teams with 12+ wins...

Since everyone plays the same people except for the first game of the season the RPI gets to be a little bit weak, especially if you played a cupcake in game 1...

I'll go update the Projected standings and you'll see some movement up at the top, it's really interesting

Shouldnt the ranking be trying to indicate the reletive strength and weakness of teams?
If it is just a matter of giving us data as to what has happened then what good is it?
If the rankings have to wait until the season is played to correct itself then why not just look at the stadnings?
It seems to me that some subjective intervention needs to be used.
I know we gave Dawgs a hard time about his rankings but other than his bias for his own team(and dissing RGB) they were generally pretty accurate.
