He is quick for a HB but the WR beat him down the field.
are you serious? or just boltzdumb? the wr had a 15 or 20 yard head start down the field......He out ran your whole team...
First off, that isn't my team.
Second, save the insults for the playground.
Third, if you look at the play, the WR had a head start in relation to the endzone, but he ran the same DISTANCE as the HB.
per your comment.. He BEAT him down field.. Of course he started way ahead. If I gave you a 45 yard head start in a 50 yard sprint you might beat me too even though we both ran the same distance even if I was faster you would BEAT me there....... But ya the Wr's,Te's,Oline, fullback have made (Why u Tryin) runs possible, they are great players......
I'm trying really hard to be polite and you're making it difficult for me to do so.
Do you not understand basic geometry? Draw a triangle (that shape that has three sides) with a 90 degree angle. Now let's mark the three corners as 1 (90 degree angle), 2 and 3 and the sides as A (corner 1 to 2), B (corner 2 to 3) and C (corner 1 to 3). You still with me? I'll make this even easier and say that 1 and 2 are on the 50 yard line and 3 is on the goal line. The distance from 1 to 3 is 50 yards and the distance between 1 and 2 is 25 yards. Now, we put two guys at 1 and 2 and have them run to 3. If they leave at the same time and get to 3 at the same time, who is faster? Now I get that we're not dealing with a right angle triangle in our particular example, but I'm trying to explain to you that just because two players leave the 50 yard line and get to the goalline at the same time doesn't mean that they are the same speed. So, what I was saying is that even though the WR was "closer" to the goalline, he did run the same distance as the RB to get to 3 in my example.
Get it? That was my point. I'm sorry that I had to use basic high school math to prove my point.
