Well, well, well. Interesting results from last weeks games. I have to give props to Alberta for a job well done, and the Quebec Eh's for playing wire to wire and comming away with a well deserved win. This week also features a few very interesting games where the outcome in uncertain at best.

Vancouver Jaguars vs. Heartbreak Ridge Recons
This game might be the opposite of our game of the week being as it features two winless teams in the Recons and Jaguars. Both teams have vied for the title of worst defense up to this point, and while the Jaguars are inept on both sides of the ball, the Recons have done an excellent job of gaining yards through the air surprisingly. With that stat alone, I will take the Recons to bring home the W here, and they should do it pretty easily.

South Manitoba Shady Devils vs. Prince Edward Island Royalty
I always have problems being impartial where my team is concerned, and this week is no exception. On the matchup screen, the Royalty look to have the edge on us, but I'm of the ilk that doesn't invest much in those matchups. Statistically, the Shady Devils have a bit of an edge offensively, but both teams are pretty neck and neck defensively, and both teams have played teams of close to the same talent level. That is all I have to say here.

Great Bear Lake Shamans vs. Alberta Gangsters
The Gangsters pulled of an extremely impressive, and completely necessary win last week over a highly regarded Peace squad. They did it by running the ball very effectively, and while they didn't gain a lot of yards through the air, when they did pass, they did it successfully, and efficiently. On the other side the Shamans padded their stats as they decimated a hapless Recon squad. I like the Shamans potential, but I don't think they have the muscle to stack up in this one. Gangsters win comfortably here.

Kodiak Bears vs. Niagra Falls Barrel Riders
The Bears are having an excellent season to this point, with their only loss comming to the powerful Peace in week two. Niagra has a solid squad, and they came out of the gates fast, but they are currently engulfed in a four game slide. The Barrel Riders have a high powered passing attack, but unfortunately they run into the number one pass D this week, and Kodiak doesn't stop there either. They have the number two run D too, and I just can't see the Barrel Riders being able to apply the brakes in this one. Niagra Falls will come out and give it a go, but in the end the Bears win by 21.

Quebec Eh's vs. Queensland Exiles
The Eh's had their most impressive win to date last week, and my hat's off to them for sticking around and finding a way to win that one, but this week they draw a more talented squad in the Exiles, who after padding their stats last week against Vancouver, look to put another one in the win column. Queensland, has a seasoned squad, and know the importance of getting a home field game in the playoffs. I expect that they will pull out all the stops for the remainder of the season to find their way to that goal. Exiles take this one 42-17.

Calgary Jaguars vs. Victoria Secret
I'm sure the Jags are still trying to figure out what happened to them last week in their game against the Eh's. In my opinion it was a lack of an attempt to run the ball and control the clock that got them into that position, but that is just hindsight. Anyhow, this week they draw Victoria, and they will have no problem putting up an easy W.

Toronto Peace vs. Ontario Coyotes
The seemingly overconfident Peace ran into a wall last week, and now they will spend the rest of the season playing chase. Ontario, is sitting at 2-4, and still jostling for position in the lower half of the conference. While the Coyotes, are a talented squad that will make more waves before the end of the season, this won't be their week.

Moose Factory Mounties vs. Doom Mountain Demons
GAME OF THE WEEK
At this point, everyone is aware of the Mounties talent, but I think more then one GM out there is wondering exactly what Doom Mountain has going on. Sure, they are a talented squad that passes very well, and is effective with their ground game too. They also have a very talented defense, but the question is, how will they stack up against "elite" talent. I don't have the answer here. I know that I will take the Mounties to win this one, but by how much I'm not sure. I think that the Demon's give them a good run though.

How can one be overconfident? We thought we would win. Every week if you are a good team and DO NOT think you would win, you have problems. There where a few game changing moments that cost us the game like my fumble. WE still need to work out the kinks in are AI tho. After us trading are other RB earlier this season.

Great read Storm, but lay off the "by 21" talk. That's way to much pressure.

Not quite... It was OUR week. Your stadium. You're owned.

Small wave... Spell Tsunami.

Did I not say that the COYOTES are a much stronger team than the record indicates?

I wouldnt screw around with them if I were any of the rest of the league. They took quite a bit of game planning.

That you for not trying to screw my great players and agents. We do not need any Jessica Simpson karma here... Now who's up next...
