With the most participation the coaches poll has seen all season the balance (as much as there can be with Oceania haven been conquered by foreign invaders ) has finally been somewhat restored as West Scranton regained sole possession of the #1 ranking, despite having two penalizing non-1st place votes.
As far as the rest of the OPL is concerned there are a few question looming out there for debate... just 5 games into the season have the Orlando Prime Timers already established themselves among OPL's elite and considered a threat to push for the championship... are the Vanuatu Kava Sharks underappreciated by not holding a consistent top 10 spot because of their two early losses (Heat and TIT's, both by less than a td)... after starting out 4-1, with quite possibly the weakest schedule having played all three of Alpha's win less teams (just squeaking by two of them) meanwhile getting demolished by the only strong team they have played, are the Canberra Strike OPL's most overrated team... sitting a 0-5, will Zeta's lone remaining original team, Brisbane Gods, get demoted to AAA this season.... how much longer can the Melbourne Thorny Devils fly under the radar... ???????

Papua New Guinea Cannibals
Fifteen teams participated this week.
() denotes first places votes
Fun Facts: There were three teams to make the top 10 despite not appearing on all 15 rankings, yet there was one team who appeared on all submissions but did not make the top 10... there was only one team that was ranked in the top 6 in all 15 week 5 rankings...
I awarded a first place vote with 15 points, 2nd with 14, and so on down the line. In the event of a tie an average of the two scores was awarded (ie. tie for 2nd results in an 8.5 for both).
Thanks to all those who voted this week!!!
