Alpha:

#1. Bay City Bohica, What a win! That was really one of those wins that is a confidence builder and shows just how good you are and how far you can go.

#2. Guam Gamecocks, They have not lost a regular season game since season 5, that is a pretty good little record. Next week will be the big show though.

#3. Easter Island Moai, Despite the loss, they don't drop much. They really fought tough, but if you can have a good loss, that was it.

#4. Golden Coast Titanz, Take away a one point loss and they are definatly in the top 3. The Titanz are a super team, but next four opponents are Johnston, Palau, Bay City, and West Canaan. That will be very tough.

#5. Samoa Piranha Monkeys, They are a touchdown away in that Bay City game to being at the #1 hole. They are very impressive so far and are doing very good in season 7.

Zeta:

#1. Fiji Panzers, With wins over Hueco and Krakatoa, they are really surfing along. Of their next 8 opponents, only 1 has a losing record. Not only that! but only two of their opponents have a 500% record. Fiji better buckle up.

#2. Davy Jones' Locker Pirate Ghosts, They are cruising and should win a few more. Of their next three opponents, they have a combined 2 wins vs 10 losses. Not exactly a killer schedule.

#3. Hueco Mundo Hollows, Their only loss is to the team in the top hole for Zeta. They have played great so far and they are really playing some great defense. Of their first 4 games, only one team has scored more than 16 on Hueco.

#4. Asau Assassins, They layed down a very nice win over Atlantis. They are definatly a solid team that is looking to keep their great play going.

#5. Sumatra Sea Hawks, Their DEs have definatly won them at least the A-State game and maybe more. They have a little bit of a let up in the schedule and I expect them to take full advantage of it.

Games to Watch

Alpha:

Guam Gamecocks @ Bay City Bohica.
Talk about the game of the week! The two undefeated teams are left atop Alpha and they are headed to a huge boxing match in week 5. ALL of OAA#2 will be watching this game.

Zeta:

Fiji Panzers @ Sempre-Sabbath Phenix.
Fiji is trying to stay atop the Zeta rankings and Sempre-Sabbath is trying not to take on a second loss. It will be one of those games that really matter for playoff seeding later.

Wow....toughest 3 consecutive games on most of ZETA's schedule this year. Hard to find a tougher 3 game grouping.

01/16/2009 Davy Jones' Locker Pirate Ghosts
01/18/2009 at Sumatra Sea Hawks
01/20/2009 Asau Assassins

Murderers row, all teams that could easily compete for the championship.
