Taiwan Dragons 46 - 28 Jambi Juice
I think Taiwan may just be a little too strong for Jambi in this one. Great chemistry and a very impressive looking roster means every time you play Taiwan you're in for a hell of a game, and if you're not playing to your very best you're in for a long day. Jambi keep it relatively close, but Taiwan power to the victory
Tibetan Black Dragons 21 - 57 Beijing Black Dragons
The battle of the Black Dragons today is won pretty easily by Beijing, sending them to 4-0. I just feel Beijing have a much stronger team and Tibetan's lack of quality depth means it will be a struggle for them today. Beijing take it.
Edenia Crimson Prophets 0 - 141 Singapore Buddhist
Singapore wins
Surayaba Heroes 38 - 10 Jakarta Jesuits
I think Jakarta may just be one of those teams that always seems to lose to close games. A good roster, but when it comes to crunch time they just don't seem to be able to execute. Today is no different as I think Surayaba beat Jakarta, sending them to 0-4 and you can probably rule them out of the post season even at this early stage
Singapore Scorpions 31 - 38 Haiphong Red Dragons
Those Red Dragons keep on rolling, but Singapore are definitely no pushovers and with a solid offense, this will probably be Haiphong's toughest challenge of the season so far. I still think the Red Dragons will take a close one with their rushing attack proving the be the difference maker.
Vietnam Kongs 47 - 24 Shanghai Assassins
I don't see Shanghai having the ability to hang with Vietnam today. I feel whatever the Assassins offense tries, the Kongs will have an equal or better answer for them on defense. I think the Kongs power to victory in the second half and move onto 3-1.
Bangkok Dragons 70 - 24 Samarinda Saints
Bangkok have no problem putting Samarinda away today. Going 0-4, the Saints can probably give up on this season and start preparing for next one
Cagayan Rattlers 152 - 0 Chiang Mai Funny Talkers
Who wins? Who cares. But i'll say Cagayan
ZETA
Guam Carabao 28 - 31 Arrowhead Fanatics
Very tough matchup right here, two of the very top teams in Zeta going head to head. Carabao will need that impressive defense to stand up and be counted and continue to be the force they have been this season, because Arrowhead bring it in the air and on the turf. If they can make the stops on defense, then they can definitely win it. I'm struggling to pick this one, as I think it really could go either way. I say that Arrowhead will take it by a last minute FG
Laos Warmachine 27 - 42 Bangkok Bangers
Now I have no idea what's happening to the Warmachine, it's not chemistry issues, nor is it a lack of quality depth, so who knows? Perhaps they are just gameplanning all wrong. But things don't get any easier as Bangkok roll into The Factory stadium and take the W, sending Laos to 0-4. 0-4 seems unthinkable for a team like that, but that's just what can happen on any given day. Bangkok take it
Skaro Daleks 21 - 44 Phuket “Happy Endings”
Both teams are riding pretty high, but I give the edge in this game to Phuket. Something tells me Skaro aren't as strong as their position leads us to believe, and I think Phuket will be the ones to put the first loss on the Daleks' record. Look for Phuket's passing game to take over and win it for them.
Johor Bahru Beach Bums 40 - 34 Holiday in Cambodia
Cambodia have looked quite poor this season, despite having an impressive looking roster. I don't think their luck gets any better against the Beach Bums either. However, if chemistry is the problem for them, then they are in luck that they are playing a team with chemistry even worse than their own. I think the Beach Bums take a close one though
Ottawa Beavers 98 - 0 PCE Pissed Drunk PubCrawlers
Ottawa win
Singapore Canes 21 - 38 Lumpinee Stadium Maine-iacs
Singapore have been very disappointing this season so far, heavy losses in all three defeats. We haven't had the best start, but i'm confident we can get the victory over the Canes today. Hopefully by over 100 points, but realistically it'll maybe be by 2 scores or so
East Island Terror 54 - 27 Blue City Bruisers
Battle of two teams who will not win very many games this year. East Island are the better team on paper and I expect them to win this game today to chalk up their first win of the season.
Kuala Lumpur Pit Vipers 56 - 13 Yokohama Samurai Warriors
Pit Vipers win
Taiwan Dragons 46 - 28 Jambi Juice
I think Taiwan may just be a little too strong for Jambi in this one. Two tough losses and a second half meltdown to start our season off. The builds and plans aren't bad...it's been frustrating so far.
