Hey hows it going. Nice to see you in the Forum again. Funny I have some players on the Peru Phiranas pee wee team.

Deacon has them 5-0

Going ok - I see you're doing some great things with the Bombers, too. Good to see you've done well. We left the cupboard pretty full in terms of your stadium when you got it, but you had a lot of recruiting to do and it looks like you've managed it pretty well. I try to pop in on the A7 forum as much as I can. AAA2 forum is pretty good this year, but A7 is where my roots lie

Btw - seems like nobodies disagreeing much with my overall ratings comment, but here's some more proof for you:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=352340

My team's a 54, and if you check, that team that we beat is a 60.

"We left the cupboard dry?" Were you one of the previous GM's of the Waco Davidians? Yeah I was lucky, but then unlucky, because the team was left with 4 players, 3 CPU when I got it. The positive was I was given a solid stadium, I just had to complete it. I built the 300 levels and purchased all the extra seats. And recruiting, yes that was a difficult task. I have worked so hard. I found a finances GM that taught me about stadium construction gave me budgets, forecast, etc. So, I never spent too much money. I found an amazing offensive coordinator that has my offense ridiculous. He can find every teams weakness and exploit the heck out of it. I finally found an amazing defensive coordinator. With the exception of last game we were only giving up 13.5 points a game! And then myself I built this team. I put the entire team together. Not one single player is left from WACO. I took it from gutted team in Season 5 to a 57 overall in 2 seasons. We win as a team and we play as a team. Lots of guys will suffer individual stats, but we are so solid top to bottom is doesn't matter. I have a close group of agents and it looks like we are going to be together for a long time!

BTW that win was impressive.

The ratings, as well as the scouting bars, should always be taken with a grain of salt. Actually, the scouting bars don't take into account equipment so they are very inaccurate. Most team ratings are skewed by kicking be high causing the overall team rating to be high. They aren't completely accurate but that being said, they are fun. It feels good to beat a team that is "rated" higher than you. Its nice to be rated higher.

Yeah, I was a GM in Waco - in fact I was Waco, back in season 2 and 3 when it was good. But the owner and another GM had a falling out with me, and I left them and took every player I'd recruited with me. That was like 85% of the team. So they limped their way to a 10th place finish in season 4, and then they quit when I bought a team in their league. So yeah, I wasn't at all implying that we left you any players - just that the stadium was nicer than most new owners get. I remember when you hit town in season 5 - you definitely showed a lot of drive, an important skill for an owner, and I'm impressed that you managed to rebuild that team into a power in A7 again. Sounds like you've got the way to build a team figured out too. Hopefully we'll see you up in AAA or the Pros at some point.

Thanks man. You guys left me a great infrastructure! Without that I don't think I would've done it so fast. But yeah, I will probably see you in AAA in about two seasons, 3 tops!
