Honestly, the East vs West argument is pretty much moot. We only play each other in the last game of the regular season, which are random games, and then the winners of each conference play in the league championship game, but they both get promoted. this is the same reason as to why South Carolina and Alabama fans chant SEC!!! SEC!!! SEC!!! Sure it has no bearing but when your team is stinking up the joint you need something to brag about.

Plus the winningest player in college football today, Pat White, and Noel Devine is kinda good too.
