The dogs both won the 2 big games of the week. I don't think it will be the last we heard of NuvaNut or Montreal but I think 3 through 7 might be a jumbled mess all season. You may see the ranking change every week for this group and it will be a battle constantly.

Rk- Team----------record---------Last ranking------next game-------write up

-----Leader of the pack-------
#1 Northern Demons----(2-0)--------(1)-------------#16 Toronto Red Devils------The Bangers made it a better game than I thought it would be. Next up is a bye week for the Demons.

----Just behind the leader---

#2 Whistler Warriors--(2-0)--------(3)------------#4 Yellowknife Eskimo Hunters--------------Moved into the second spot with the Knight loss and should be focusing on ways to catch the Demons.

-------The Battle for playoff positioning----

#3 Hogwarts Wizzards--(2-0)--------(4)-----------#6 NuvaNut Knights------------They are starting the meat section of their schedule. If they can survive the next 4 to 7 games without too much damage, they will be in good shape down the stretch. Might be the cream of the crop for this group, but we will see.
#4 Yellowknife Eskimo Hunters-(2-0)--(6)-------#2 Whistler Warriors-------------2-0 over 2 very good teams, but the next game against the Warriors is by far the best team they will play so far.
#5 Vancouver "Pitbulls"------ (2-0)--(7)--------#10 Vancouver Northern Lights------This team is continuing to suprise me as to how good they are. Next up is a game to see who is the best in Vancouver and both are 2-0.
#6 NuvaNut Knights---(1-1)---------(2)-------------#3 Hogwarts Wizzards------Big Faller for this week will not find the road any easier with Hogwarts, Montreal, and Whistler up next. If they don't pull something out of those games they will be in a huge hole they will have to dig themselves out of.
#7 Montreal Mutants---(1-1)--------(5)----------#14 Cardinal Redbirds---------They were dominated in the first half of the Yellowknife game and fell short of a comeback in the second half. Should get back on track with a game against Cardinal.

-----The Battle for 8th--------

#8 New Cologne Bears---------(1-1)--(9)--------#15 Alberta Mounties-------------Currently holds the 8 spot and will gain more confidence after beating the 16th ranked team they will play the 15th ranked team.
#9 Da Nang Gang Bangers-------(0-2)--(8)---------#12 RC Gladiators-------------I was impressed with how they played with the Demons. Next game should give them there first win of the season.

-----Could play spoiler to some teams------

#10 Vancouver Northern Lights-(2-0)--(10)-------#5 Vancouver "Pitbulls"----------------Yes they are 2-0 but now is the moment of truth. A win over the Pitbulls would shoot them right up the ladder.
#11 Ottawa Jaguars------------(1-1)---(11)-------#13 Calver Eagles-------------Pick up their first win of the year and should continue on with those winning ways against the eagles.

----Outclassed-------

#12 RC Gladiators-------------(0-2)---(12)-----#9 Da Nang Gang Bangers------I think they are outmatched here by more than people will think.
#13 Calver Eagles-------------(0-2)---(13)-----#11 Ottawa Jaguars-------------Though this game is an 11 vs 13 matchup it is nowhere near that close.

------? team-----

#14 Cardinal Redbirds--------(1-1)----(14)-----#7 Montreal Mutants-------------Pounded by Hogwarts last game and the Mutants will look to continue some more of the same.

------Headed down to BBB-----

#15 Alberta Mounties---------(0-2)----(15)-----#8 New Cologne Bears--------------They scored 14 points on the Jaguars.
#16 Toronto Red Devils------(0-2)-----(16)-----#1 Northern Demons------------This rankings interesting stat was Johnny BeGone had 15 rushes with 12 TFL.

Games of the week:

#3 Hogwarts Wizzards (2-0) vs #6 NuvaNut Knights (1-1) - second straight week the Knights are involved in a game of the week. Can they fare better this time?
#1 Northern Demons (2-0) vs #16 Toronto Red Devils (0-2) - I could have picked the second game to be the battle of Vancouver or the Warrior vs Eskimo Hunters, but instead I picked a game I have the spread set at 299 and a half. Can the Demons hang 300 on the Red Devils? I will take the Red Devils and the points in a close one.

We put up 289 vs Red Devils. Something for the Demons to shoot for.
