3rd capped. With full equipment, that would be 90.

If putting full equip in strength was the right decision, then yes, 90. You should easily have 68/68 blk/str by level 25. I got there at level 16. Not so sure about 22 equip points going on Str though

your G got to 68/68 by lvl 16? that seems unreasonable. did you sit out a season?

are you just spamming the forums to advertise your blog? cause your G doesn't even have 75 at lvl 28, even with equipment.

Pardon me, level 17.

I didn't sit out, but I did slow build and use bar-fill tricks. Its far from optimal or fastest to possibly get there, but good enough. My training also got my agi to 25, vis to 22, conf to 30 (crazy gains). sta/spd I haven't touched yet. Lot of work to do on the rest, but at only level 17 got all the time in the world.

And people say slowbuild is crazy-stupid and you suck for a year? 75/75/25 suffices at RG in a second-season league.

instead of going 68-68 for my guard first
im gonna go 68-60-60 (str agi block) then go 68-68-60-48 (spd)

With AGI a minor, starting at only 10 for a G saving it for later really gets the extra training value. At level 17 having had 16*0.25 level gains = +4, I've been able to train agility for a full +11 SP. Pretty good!

well i find it to be a major fro an LG (what im building my OG to be)
i dotn mind have slightly lower blocking for that extra boost in agility.
at lvl 17 i have 50 agility which is more than some OT at lvl 35

I'm with octowned on this one. things may have changed since I took my G down the path, but I don't remember having any problems facing good DTs from about lvl 16 on. I took the str/blk route because of the gains you get from leveling. I also did it because I didn't think I would need 50 agility against low level opponents. I don't remember for sure, but I think I got to 68/68 at level 17 or 18 (maybe the extra sp that you can get from intense training combined with the training bar thing that wasn't available when I was building helped you get there a level or two faster?). Now that he's 34, he's got 77 natural str/blk, 65 agi, 49 vis, and 55 conf. His speed/stamina could use some training, but I feel like the order I did it in allowed me to stay ahead of the competition that I was going to be facing, and allowed me to best utilize the autolevel gains to make sure I don't fall behind the late bloomers.

I think STR for a G by lvl 25 should be 68 natural, and I would put all EQ in STR. Additionally, BLK should be to 68. AGL should be 60 or building to it. Personally I would do SPD to 48 next. Then CON/VIS.

Anybody have any thoughts on why CON is a major attribute for Gs?

Its a major attribute for the OT position too. Gs and OTs give up sacks, so need confidence to keep morale up. OT needs vis/agi as they're way more versatile linemen. C's don't really get "beat" so why would they need much confidence? I feel like that was Bort's logic. The fact that Gs ended up with 0.67 / level doesn't indicate its importance rather a consequence of initially Bort thinking not much would matter for them.

Clearly he didn't anticipate 110 agility DTs in season 7.

And when I said agility a minor, I meant so when you roll a player it starts at 10. Having it so low lends itself to longer training and thus a later capping for best build strategy.

a well built one 100+ and average built one between 80-90 str.
