As you said, virtually every post you make is drek; do you actually expect people to read them hoping to find some underlying meaning?

You build an all agility/speed back with no stregth and with the Vet abilities helping to increase speed and after 3X boosts, the defense could very well catch up. Not saying this is how he is built and not saying that this is 100% correct. I'm just saying its going to factor into. Prime example is looking at your FS. I bet you have 85-90ish speed while tackling and strength are barely soft capped. Nothing wrong with that if thats the way he is built, just pointing out that for the past couple of seasons, its been all speed/agility for most peoples boost points.

Long story short, speed/agility is catching up. With all the slow builds going on, they will have way more speed and agility when they are my level than what I have now. Need to exploit the next attribute in line which would probably be strength. Totally guessing since I can't see your build but again, its just an opinion. For all I know, the sim is broken. I can't see all that shit lol Just taking a stab in the dark here.
At least you made a post that talks about this thread, kind of.
The success of speed backs really doesn't have anything to do with speed/agility catching up.
It has to do with:
-LBs not dropping back any longer (which should be the case, but couple it with the other items below and it just adds to the mess).
-HBs speed penalty when moving near/around players increased.
-Blocked players tackling penalty being decreased.
The defenses haven't caught up, game mechanic changes have simply made speed backs get tackled without getting as far.
I don't seem to have these problems that you are pointing out. But then again, I built mine balanced, not elusive, not power. That was why I suggested you add a little more strength to balance the guy out to break the initial tackle and then take off. Not to mention all your "examples" should be affecting power backs as well, not just elusive.

I honestly probably have more strength on my back than you do on yours.
You haven't even played an even opponent yet, not sure why you think you have the running game figured out. Why don't we revisit your running backs success after a couple more games. You played two cupcakes, and then put up a mediocre game against the Ratels who your team out levels immensely.

1) Doubt you do...
2) Never said I had it figured out. I used the same opponent as a measuring stick. You average 18 YPC last season against them, I average 19 YPC this season.
Either way, this is where our conversation ends

Regardless you were wrong about his strength.

Then don't come in here acting like the build guru.
Are you really saying you have a basis to talk because you averaged 1 more yard per carry against a cupcake lol? 18 vs 19 lol?
Ricky had 18 touchdowns vs your 5? Maybe, he might have a higher average if you could well, run past the endzone?
My GM/Owner Trophies: 3
Your GM/Owner Trophies: 0
My Player Trophies: 16
Your Player Trophies: 0
The truth is anyone who puts in the time in GLB can put up winning seasons simply because the majority of the teams in leagues are vastly mediocre so congrats, it takes more than that to excel and win something, which you haven't done.
Thanks for all the advice though.

It certainly is now, maybe you should go give flames some advice on player builds while you are at it.

I showed you nothing but respect up until this point. Even when you were trying to put words in my mouth, I didn't disrespect you. I even pointed out how I was taking a shot in the dark and that in the end, it could be a sim issue. Sorry you couldn't "force" me to agree with you. I will pretty much leave it at that because I wouldn't want it to reflect badly on my team. I would love to say more but to be honest, you really aren't even worth what I just typed.

It's obvious that your team is the smartest around.

Both of you are missing the point. This years rushing game is pretty pitiful against even opponents.
Last year a great player could be shut down if the team game planned right (just look at Ricky vs the Sand Storm) this year you don't even have to try.
It's cute how you work in an extra shot at Sahara there, nice work, you really are a grade a prick. The point is that there is no 'pure' sample to draw from. You're more than welcome to pretend that S6 was special becuse there were five 'legitimate' teams instead of two or three. There is no pure sample in a forum this tainted, and pretending any one season was somehow special is just pathetic. Congratulations to all, I'm sure you can look forward to many future seasons whining to newcomers about how they aren't worth shit.
