Man, this forum is heating up already and the season just ended. LOL I'm sure we'll have a target on our backs from the newly promoted teams, but there's a LOT of good teams here. Good luck to everybody, even you Cal.

There is a chance we may complain and stay. It sucks to always get promoted without winning anything, any silver trophies, much less gold ones. I am consulting with my GM's. We ultimately want to get to pro, but we want more shots at trophies too, so I am not sure which I like.
well still, if you weren't unhappy about it then you wouldn't be trying to stay. i'd rather have you in AAA with a roster that should compete well, rather than AA where you will probably walk over the competition.
and yes, if they're doing more than 2 teams for promotion...it shouldn't go beyond the 4 conference final teams...don't know how exactly it helps when they pull 5/6 teams to move up...when some of them might not be ready for the competition at the next level.
I am indifferent on the situation right now. I want Cambodia to get to Pro, but i had accepted being in AA still, since I thought 6 teams would be promoted, 3 from each. And we were 8 in line of bort's stuff to get promoted.
While I want to get to Pro, I also want to get a trophy. And the difference in AAA and AA is not that crazy. I may sound greedy, but I want some kind of trophy, and I was thinking next season in AA was our best chance.
its unfortunate how things work, but after season 5 I was hoping we didn't get moved up to AA, because I had the same feeling as you do now about our chances for how season 6 would have played out in A. But we got moved and for the most part played "ok" in a tougher conference. Don't know how things will go the 2nd time around with promotions, hopefully we improve some from last season.
*quietly polishes the trophies in Surabaya's case*
I know what you guys mean though, I'd like to add a AA trophy when we advance to AAA, whether it's this season, next season, whatever. That's the one big downside to the new promotion scheme, even though I feel the new scheme was completely necessary. Personally I think Bort should divide each conference into four four-team divisions and hand out division-title trophies as well, then only make division champions eligible for promotion, so that every team who goes up at least has something to show for their success at a lower level.
In any case, this is looking like a fantastic season!

Augusta never won any league, and they were bumped from Naga over to Garuda before Season 6, not when they were demoted. There's also no guarantee when a team is demoted that they will end up in one specific league even if they came from that league originally. Finally, their roster is gutted so they probably deserved the bump down and may have even requested it.
