Easy has gone belly up. Why? Not enough stadium to support their payroll, specifically last season they blew the wad on high level players. Result, this year they had to scale way back on payroll (from the previous level) and had a dismal season. Not enough stadium = not enough cash to pay your players. It looks like there may be some teams over in the zeta that could be heading toward a similar fate if they don't build some sections this off-season, so take note.

Agreed, my team may suck now but with the low payroll I have been able to build the entire 100 and 200 sections(finished this off season). I will also be doing all of the expansions on those sections this seasons.

Shame some people don't get it. I suspect that was a major reason the Nighthawks sold out also in AA.

But all that money they won through the playoffs last season should have gone a LONG way.

Maybe they paid out big bonuses so the stadium suffered again.

We will probably see a bunch more this next season in our league when the move ups from BBB try to hire higher level players to be competitive and neglect their stadiums. Meanwhile, me and styxx just keep on a building up

thats what i have tried to get over at the monkeys. looking good for next year with only the 300 sidelines and the 200 endzones to be finished.
not too shabby in a season and a half

just dont forget you cant do the 300 sidelines in the same season you finish the 200 levels...you ahve to wait an entire season to do 300 level

There was a team that offered my lvl 16 OT a $250,000/yr contract...for 1 season! I was curious and looked at the roster he signed....there were about 10 players with that kind of money and he had a total of about $500,000 in team cash. To give him benefit of the doubt I looked at his stadium, cause maybe he has the entire lower section done; Not so much....it was at base with a home and away. If they want to just donate money to GLB like that I'll give them my PayPal account and I'll put it to much greater use!

you can if only the 200 endzones are left, you need all the sidelines and corners done

Anyone want to take a guess at how many teams go bankrupt this season? Even without seeing how much stadium they have built (if any), I see a couple of move up teams with $5M+ salary expenses.

I predict at least 2 alpha and 2 zeta teams bite the dust from running out of cash.

Without a loan out, here is how we look financially:

Salaries for us add up to 4,793,000 or around there.

5 364 640 - Level 100 Sidelines

3 473 920 - Level 100 Corners

1 987 200 - Level 100 End Zones
------------------------------------------------
= 10 825 760 Total income w/o Concessions

10 825 760
- 4 793 000
----------------
$6 032 760

So we could add 3 or maybe more pieces of stadium the following year if I added that right.

concessions will be a ton of extra cash, probably an extra section right there, and each home playoff game if you get them is worth pretty much another section each too. also have to take equipment into account.

It looks like you have a good handle on your finances and are in decent shape in that you have a couple corners headstart Skarie, its some of the brand new teams that have to worry. Especially if they blew it all on bonuses and didn't build all that much, the curse of promotion.

Don't forget to budget in L24/32 equipment or you will have some unhappy players. That's about a $10M ($200,000 x 50 players) hit for L24.

I really would like to see everyone stay above ground this season, it makes it much more interesting

Yeah, I know. I am going to explain that to everyone.
