Two interesting games this week in Zeta, but one will be much more intersting than the other. I bet you can guess which one

Game of the week #1.....The last dance
Antarctica vs. Newcastle
The Seals get one more chance at the Minos before they move on up to AAA...it will be a good one. There is not a whole lot separating these two teams. Both are solid on both sides of the ball. The Seals are a bit better on the defensive side while the Minotaurs excell on the offensive side. They faced off early in the year, but much has changed since then, for both teams. This game will be close throughout unless the turnovers start to pop up. Will a big play break it open...could be. Both teams have offensive playmakers. This is a game where the only prediction I will make is that the Seals have a solid shot to pull off the upset.....and yes...it would be an upset. The Minotaurs are deserving of the favorite position in this game. But....I have to make a call this week....and I will. Minos win by a FG late....unless the Seals win the turnover battle...then all bets are off. It will be a good game regardless. We are happy for another shot at Newcastle....maybe our last shot for a while.

Game of the Week #2: You never know....well...sometimes you really do.
Osaka vs. Wake Island
The Buckeyes have been dominating this season in the Zeta conference and it won't end here. The Destroyers are an overachieving bunch that has earned their way to this matchup by beating an excellent Vanuatu team. They didn't do it with mirrors, but solid game planning. They will need the mirrors this week though. I would recommend breaking them around the Osaka RB's. This will be a good game, for a quarter. Then, in spite of a solid Destroyer effort, the Buckeyes will pull away for a relatively safe win. It won't be too big, but big enough. Osaka by 5 TD's over a good Wake Island team.

We had one upset in the first round of the Zeta playoffs....will there be another one this week....I sure hope so!

All I know is that this will be the toughest game of the season for us as we inch closer to the championship.. Look for this to be a hard fought battle were game planning will matter..

Damn, Malinor, you have a crystal ball? The Newcastle/Seal game ended up virtually a field goal's difference.
