Nope, you gotta do your homework. In general, look at team stats and find out the top 5 or so teams in that category (O, D, or ST). Then go to each team's roster and pull up their starting guy. Compare away. That doesn't always catch all the best, but at least you get an idea of where your guy stands.

Ouch, homework. The reason I used to have bad grades.

Thanks for the help, I'll have to try that when I get pretty bored.

Hey Yoke, I would've thought you would've had a player on Tree's team.

My FS is signing with his team for next season, so I'll be there after day 40, from what it sounds like.

Maybe we should organize this in some fashion to keep people from arguing about who sticks who deserves to get on the team. I know in one league I'm GM of we have one guy from each conference take 1 vote for each team and calculate who makes it. Can't vote for someone on your team and at least one player makes it per team. It looks like this

QB:
QB:
HB:
HB:
FB:
TE:
TE:
OT:
OT:
OT:
OG:
OG:
OG:
C:
C:
WR:
WR:
WR:
WR:

DT:
DT:
DT:
DE:
DE:
DE:
OLB:
OLB:

OLB:
MLB:
MLB:
CB:
CB:
CB:
CB:
SS:
SS:
FS:
FS:

K:
P:

KR:
PR:

Owners fill it out and send to one person. People with most votes go to the pro bowl as long as 1 per team makes it on the pro bowl team. Makes it so there is more a general concensus and no real feeling of being shafted or discussion such as WTF so and so is better than so and so. BOOOO YOU...lol

Heres a thought, how about each team nomenate 2 players, playoff teams nomenate 4 players, and the confrence champs nomenate 6, and league champs nomenate 8.

I'll nomenate

QB Madden Board 7148 pass yrds, 77 td's, 6 ints, 66.3 compl %
WR Santo10 Holmes 3283 rec yrds, 46 td's
CB C.P. Nixon 30 tackles, 8 ints, 74 PD's
LB Andrew Bryson 63 tackles, 3 sacks, 4 ints, 1 def TD, 15 PD's

Maybe this way could work a little better.

Tayshawn Vick with 7955yds, 102tds 12 ints should be the QB for West

Mihai Mitrache 5905 passing yds 83 passing tds 6ints and 2576 rushing yds 38 rushing tds, should definitely be the QB for the East

I know Madden Board did more in the passing game but Mihai Mitrache is a one man wrecking crew

There are 2 QB's from the East and 2 from the west. If ya'll want our version of the pro-bowl to be like the NFL.

Our team might not be the best in the league (ok isnt the best) but we got some good players but were over looked cause of our record

They also need more stats of the Linemen as pancakes int the only thing College/NFL uses to record a player performance on the field

These are just my nominations. They are subject to change. What does everyone think?

SS
General Dwight Eisenhower Western
Ryno Kilowitsky Eastern

What are we basing the SS position off of?

I would say Spanky Myrick
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=493449&playoffs=0

or

Jacob Hunter
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=464384&playoffs=0

These two are basically even in stats, and better than Ryno

ETA...Mitrache for eastern QB

Your jokeing right?? Barbosa Crabb had much much better #'s then these two jokes.

I hate to bust your bubble, but your guy wouldn't put up those numbers on a better team.
