One week to go now, and the final two spots in Alpha are still undecided. Adelaide put themselves in good position holding on for a 1 point victory this week over the Gunslingers. Rawaki Island fell short in their second half comeback against the Knights, and Ino lost to Cook Island, putting their playoff shot in jeopardy. Ino needs to beat E.C. and for RIP to beat Adelaide in week 16 to get in. In a three-way tie, Rawaki would be left out in the tie-breaker (going to points scored since each team will have beaten each other). However, if Ino doesn't win, the Phoenix and Black Snakes take the final two spots, and their game will determine who faces Gold Coast and who faces Guam.

Week 16 Games with Playoff significance:
Ino Islanders v. E.C. Express - The Islanders playoff hopes rest on this game, while E.C. is fighting for playoff seeding amidst a crowded middle of the field in Alpha.

Rawaki Island v. Adelaide - Rawaki Island had won 7 straight before losing this week to New Zealand. They need Ino to lose to get them into the playoffs, while an Adelaide win will secure their spot at #7 in the standings.

New Zealand v. Tasmania - The Knights and Devils square off in a fight for home field advantage. The winner is assured a home game to start the playoffs.

Nice work Caligaucho! Guam will be watching those first two games very closely. I am very curious to see if E.C. can stop Poley and hold them out of the playoffs. E.C. does not want to fall all the way down to the 5 seed and miss out on a home playoff game.

If Ino loses than that would put all 4 Oceania A#5 Alpha teams into the playoffs. That is quite an accomplishment!

Alpha A5 = win.

Also, the worst EC can do is get the 4 seed because either the Knights or Devils have to lose the next game...unless we tie, but that's pretty unlikely.

It's coming down to the wire. No matter what happens it'll be fun to watch.

And if EC wins, the Knights and Devils will play again in the first round.

Doesnt the #3 seed come down to overall points not head to head?
If thats the case knights get the 3 seed if we win.

No, E.C. beat both the Knights and the Devils in head to head and that is the first tiebreaker. If you were all 1-1 against each other, then it would go to total points.
