If you look at our games, it has everything to do with the Scranton owner having a compulsive need to sign 5 million players each offseason.

Corrected your post

Can't help it if players from last year had relatives who wanted on team. Besides Jetsfan mentioned his NT was getting lonely and your Jennifer love hewitt pictures on the team site weren't cutting it.

Throw out the games vs. Gutted teams, that's a no brainier.

Crusher’s Vote.
D-MVP vote goes to Adam Avalanche.
Offensive MVP goes to Gordon James for not having another record breaking season, all haul Bort for taming the savage beast.

This may be the first season in the history of GLB that "His Jamesness” is not up for defensive MVP.

Fear the James, however, who is getting it together in time for the playoffs.

6 sacks today against Brantford.

Willie Dobson and Jimi Morrison are in the same boat as James, why did we not do this the last couple seasons?

Anyway, my vote is for Denver. We obviously have not played Avalanche, but I think Denver's impact on his team and the fact that he is in Zeta have to be taken into account.

Without Denver BDC would be struggling for a playoff spot at all, without Avalanche I still think Scranton wins Alpha.

This is the vote for the Heat btw, as I don't think King will be voting.

Without Avalanche, I wonder if the Invaders win Alpha reg. season or finish top 2 or top 3. We haven't played him this season, but when someone like McGruff steps up and talks about not knowing how to plan for him, that means something, to me at least

I'm still on the fence.

Interesting that my receiver, Defrance is getting no love at all.

If you look at game logs, Parr and Sneeze have only 5 games with 200 or more receiving yards between the 2 of them. While DeFrance has 7 games with 200 or more receiving yards...more than both Parr and Sneeze combined. Why is he getting forgotten?

You were mentioned up there in the really long post that I scanned for my name and then disregarded because it failed to stroke my ego.

That is fair of course, but I think you have to be swayed to some degree by your own actual experience, therefore I think it makes perfect sense for McGruff to vote for Avalanche, while I vote for Denver.

56 catches and 3 TD's, which might very well lead the league in this TE-less game right now, but it is very far from MVP discussion

True enough, but it just seems like the way everyone is listing was almost like a Pro Bowl type roster. Just was half expecting a complete lineup XD

For the hell of it, I should explain why I chose Sneeze over Parr:

Parr: 101 catches, 2841 yards, 28.1 yards per catch, 11.2 yards after the catch, 36 TD's, 16 drops (86.3% catch rate)

Sneeze: 137 catches, 2133 yards, 15.6 yards per catch, 5.3 yards after the catch, 25 TD's, 8 drops (94.4% catch rate)

You could easily make a case for either of these guys, and there are others that you could make a case for as well. The fact that Parr was a "backup" doesn't hold water with me -- receivers have always thrived in GLB out of the 3-hole, and this season out of the 4-hole as well it seemed.

For me, the 36 more receptions and the amazing catch rate were the difference.

me and jimmy were getting drunk last night and marveling over his drops...(2 slot most of the time, qb favorite, and taking bullet passes...)

If only he had a better offensive coordinator......
