Tired as hell from working all night and then having a few drinks at the bar but here is tonight's slightly abbreviated recap.

Amsterdam Dragon's (3-10) at Stockholm Black Death (11-2) 7-59

The Kyrkogården was once again a place of joy and celebration as the Black Death trounced the Amsterdam Dragon's by a huge margin. Stockholm was in control of this one from start to finish and racked up over 600 yards of offense on their way to the win. Stockholm HB Anasaki Nelson stood out on his way to 204 yards and 6 TDs.

København Hühnerfalken (10-3) at Red River Ruminants (4-9) 27-12

Despite a valiant performance by the Ruminants, the Hühnerfalken would not be silenced and they roll to their third straight win on the road in this one. The best WR in the league Come fly with Me had a relatively quiet day with only 2 catches for 79.5 yards and a TD and København's normally deadly pass offense only posted a pedestrian 204.5 yard through the air. The two teams were locked in a tie at halftime but the Hühnerfalken were able to step it up in the second half and walk away with a tough fought victory.

Torpedo Cowthorpe (10-3) at Passion Fruits (9-4) 3-19

The Fruit Stand was the scene of a beatdown with the Cowthorpe on the losing end as the Passion Fruits roll to an impressive win over Toledo at home. The Cowthorpe were quickly put in their place early in the second quarter when stud HB Micro Lab3 was pulled down in the endzone for a safety by Passion's Jim Mahler. The Fruit would go on to hold Cowthorpe to single digits for the first time this season with a defensive effort that will be noticed by all of the defensive coordinators around the league.

iue5 acolytes (9-4) at Nikopolis Stoic Hedonists (1-12) 59-7

iue5 rolled over the Hedonists in front of 11260 fans at Schmuckkästchen in what is becoming a familiar sight at the stadium. The acolytes played like the championship was on the line, most likely because it wasn't. iue5 HB Mega Mannnnnnnnnnnnnnn was studly taking his 25 carries and 2 catches for 270 yards and 3 TDs.

Warfield Hellbringers (5-8) at Vatican City Fighting Popes (8-5) 6-17

The Fighting Popes ensured that the Warfield Hellbringers would not have a winning season in front of a frenzied crowd at the Sistine Chapel in a tightly contested matchup. Vatican City outgained the Hellbringers nearly 3 to 1 but was unable to ever take an overwhelming lead in this game.

Ingolstadt Hat Tossers (8-5) at East Cairo Argonauts (7-6) 6-20

The Argonauts management team told the Hat Tossers that they would be in for a loss this week starting three weeks ago and they delivered on their promise as East Cairo strung together their 4th consecutive victory in this win over Ingolstadt. East Cairo's defense got after Tossers QB Dissect the D with 2 sacks and an interception and the Argonaut offense managed to hold on to the ball 3 out 4 times when the Hat Tossers managed to force fumbles.

Natural Born Killers (8-5) at Tilburg Dream (3-10) 31-21

NBK managed to outscore the Dream by only ten points in what was a surprisingly good game by the Tilburg Dream. The beatings that have been handed to Tilburg over the last couple of games must have stung because they retired the all player blitz attack on defense and smothered the passing game of the Killers allowing only 119 yards through the air. NBK would not be shut down completely though and their running attack managed to do enough damage to lock up the win.

Heidelberg Hitmen (4-9) at Cambridge Chieftains (7-6) 24-31

The Chieftains managed to stay in the playoff hunt with a win over the slumping Hitmen in a close game which came down to the final score early in the 4th quarter. Heidelberg started the game off strong taking a 17-3 lead into the half but was simply unable to hold off the Chieftains and Heidelberg QB Kellen Moore threw the game away late with an interception to Cambridge's CB Carson Bone for 76 yards and the go ahead score.

Awesome write up once again. I was expecting to put up some gaudy numbers against them, and then they took the 11 man blitz out of their defense. Thrn what do you know, they actually can keep a game rather close.

Someone posted on here a few days ago that they thought Tilburg might be lying in wait to try to catch a team napping. I get the feeling maybe they were right and Tilburg was trying to make your playoff spot a little less certain, mcallero. Glad to see you guys overcame, it will make our game more interesting.

EDIT: Besides, you didn't want 1000+ passing yards and 13 TDs pumping up your passing statistics like the Tossers got when they played them, right? Right??
