Moving the Intra-conference games to Week 1 has made for some interesting scenarios as the season winds down.
In the East, this is the current scenario.
The Killer Frogs narrowly escape a tough Piranha team to remain undefeated. They will play the 2nd place Choppaholixs in 2 weeks and finish with the 3rd place Arms Dealers.
The Choppaholixs only loss so far is to Ghana. They play the Piranha and the Frogs in the next 2 games.
The Arms Dealers are sitting in 3rd with their 2 losses being to the Choppaholixs and the Dogs. They end the season with the Frogs.
The Piranhas lead a group of 3 teams tied at 10-3 -- joined by the Dogs and Ghana. They play the Choppaholixs next while the Dogs and Ghana play each other.
If the Frogs (knock on wood) and Piranhas were to win out, second place in the conference could very well be a 4 team tie between the Choppaholixs, Arms Dealers, Piranhas and the winner of the Dogs/Ghana.
There is still a lot of jockeying for position in the final 3 games.
